Shrock Sliders
light bar with 4 HID up top
SPC UCA
Radflo coilovers
Radflo emulsions
new leaf packs
8k winch

one day, i'll get all the goodies on.. but as a DD its hard to start those big jobs like the suspension

T4RAWR 05-25-2012 04:23 PM

im saving for skids, sliders, shrockworks bumper and a lift.

Eternal_SiR 05-25-2012 04:29 PM

I hear ya! Been to lazy to fab up all my skids, all the dimensions and design are all done, now i just gotta do the programming and get it to the shop to the CNC Plasma cutter.

1st gen for bogger/dedicated trail rig.

3rd gen (with the 3.4L) if you want something you can actually use on and off the trail.

3rd gen you can also find one with rear e-locker to make life a little easier. Both are pretty capable on trails once you put a small lift and good tires on em.

that 3rd gen looks pretty sweet.

saw a few nice 1st gen builds on t4r.org

T4RAWR 06-10-2012 11:31 AM

Yea the 1st are a classic. Love the design and I'm hoping to get a trail rig built up when I have the time and money.

Either way you can't go wrong. If you're looking long term project 1st gen might be the way to go but if u wanna mod slightly and do everything with it I'd go with the 3rd gen. If you check the 3rd gen forum on t4r.org there are some amazing rigs built up.

murd0c 06-10-2012 11:47 AM

I like my 3rd gen other then being shitty on gas with my 33's on it. Great truck in which I can take anywhere I want.

T4RAWR 06-10-2012 11:52 AM

Any mods besides the 33s?

Hummer H2. :lawl:

?uestlove 06-10-2012 02:03 PM

I tried buying a 1st gen to build into a trail rig but its hard to find them with a clean frame. That's why I sas'd my 2nd gen, the frame is mint. The frames don't always rust from the outside, they rust from the inside out so the frame looks solid.
