oh yeah i looked into OME springs to lift up the rear a bit but most springs lift 2", i only wanted 1 1/4 to 1 1/2" at the back and a tiny bit up front to keep it from looking like a dragster. but i've heard only good things about OME springs | drawbacks to stiff suspension off road? it's a very bone jarring ride... soft suspension articulates better...
OME medium rear coils and turnign your torsion bars 3 turns will level your truck...
keep in mind these pics are 3+ years old, and rock sliders were put on that truck the next week... and the truck has been sold a couple times since...

yeah fluid level is fine, i changed the ATF 2000km's ago. it was screwy just that once and its been fine ever since, maybe it's got a sticking valve when its cold. at 350 000km i'm not surprised. i'll fire a new filter in and change the fluid again and whatever happens happens.
on another note, i finally washed it! i used a lawn sprinkler and this "flow through" brush thing to do under the truck and the wheel wells. worked great! good thing my land lords didn't show up, it was a mess! http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en |

^ after a google of Kakila Creek, pretty sure that's the spot. Not sure of the exact name, just the vicinity. Good fishing at the narrows there.

I just got a Suzuki SX4 with MT-6 and AWD. Switched on the AWD 50:50 lock in the mud at my jobsite this week. Fun!
I might have to get the Rocky Road SX4 lift kit and some meatier tires one day.

I guess I'll check in here
2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 2003 motor (PO hydrolocked the original engine)
-206 grind cams, ported and polished throttle body, K&N cold air intake, custom y-pipe back 3 inch flowmaster exhaust with DMH cutout (cutout is currently mia due to it breaking, warranty is taking forever), Superchips tune ..
.. those are the only interesting mods, everything else is aesthetic
You guys are gonna hate me but I recently bought 2 inch lowering springs for it ... going to add black srt8 rims to it, with new bilsteins and new swaybars (if I ever get the cash) ... or I may just sell the springs I have to get a lift, undecided on what route to take with it.

trust me you want to lift it. Once it's lifted you will love it especially with all the options you will have in the summer time.

I'm trying to get a crapload of courses done this semester and next semester so I can finally take a semester off to work, and save up some cash for the jeep.
I'd want a CV style front drive shaft to replace my Saginaw style one, and then I can actually add a nice lift (3 inch from iron rock offroad) and some nice 32's M+S tires, and new addco sway bars. With all that I'd be pretty happy. $$$ Is a huge factor for me though
It's surprising how much I can do on crappy M+S tires at stock height with the stock 247 transfer case and front and rear varilok differentials. But If I did go lifted, I'd lose my ability to screw with ricers who try to cut me off in the parking lane.
Decisions decisions ...
