1986 Ford ranger XLT 4x4 super cab 5 speed with 2 tanks, and a ford factory lift. red and silver. with tow pacage. body has a few dents and scratches from a little bit of bush fun and work. engine mods: -aluminum rad (thats it for now, but im looking into puting a 302 inot it) interior: -alpine 9831 head unit -orion mids -850 watt titanum amp (had 2 RF punch 12's, but sold them for ICBC) -black bench deat couver -ford truck stearing wheel couver just cause the stearing wheel looked nasty. exterior: -tail gate net is commin on pay day. -235 75 15's not sure if that is the stock size - cupple of stickers that my friend got me, so i humerd him and put them on. future plans: got some 33 or 35 inch tires (cant remember what the guy said) and a 3 inch body lift bought and installed for $430. cupple weeks away. wheel spacers. i wanna paint it flat black and put a chrome roll bar, and some chrome nurf bars on it. bush lights, and chrome bush bumpers. i wanna die the interior all black, and make custom sub box, in the box, cutting out a hole between the cab, and teh box, and sealing it with flexible rubber. and hiding the subs under an aluminum diamond plated tool box. and maybe a suspension lift, and if i can find them, i want some fiber glass flares. my truck is for sale, but if no one buys it, ill just have some fun with it. pics will be up when i get some. |

http://www.supermotors.org/getfile/2...l/PIC00059.jpg That is the current picture, it is getting heavily modified again starting next week, it is getting a monster bore/stroke 460 (600+ FTLBS and 455 WHP) with a NP435 mated NP205 and a spooled 9". Along with the drivetrain beef-up it is also becoming a 4 door crew cab with a 5 foot box (ditching the reg cab). It already has the solid axle swap dana 44 and will eventually get a dana 60 instead. Here is the "concept photo-chop" of what it will look like very soon: http://www.supermotors.org/getfile/2...or_project.JPG Oh, and all this baby has been backyard engineered and customized with blood sweat and tears! |
2003 Chevy Tracker Stock for the moment. Want to install aggressive 205/70/15's until i get it raised. Least i can fling the mud a bit. Will post pic when i get some. Also its not mine, but i helped in building it. 77 Ford 3/4 ton 4x4. We cut 16.5" out of the center of it, right behind the cab. to make it into a short box. Lifted it 9" over stock, and stock is what? 4" on a older Ford? Was running 38" Super Swampers. ( i believe ).. We could sit under it upright and work on the truck.. came in handy during the rain.. :p Black, Duel steering stablizers, No Body Lifts.. they are just wrong in my area.. where am at.. Simple rule: if you want it lifted, lift it. Don't shime a body.. it's just not right.. ;) No offence guys.. Will post pics when i find them again.. |
