When u go outdoors and take a leak.. aren't ya supposed to say "Excuse Me" so that the spirits don't get pissed at ya and possess u?
And partially so that you're not pissin' on their grave or something...
Also heard you're not supposed to pick up foreign objects in foreign places cuz you don't know where they've been and it could be bad luck or possessed by a spirit :alienface
Just a superstition I heard..

Hmm.. isnt the ladies washroom in melody shake supposed to be haunted too??
o ya.. out in the interior somewhere.. i heard my uncle was seen in a restaurant... why i say this is becuz my uncle had died in a car accident on his way into the interior many years ago.. family friends told my parents.. whether its true or not.. i wouldn't know..
Sir Matthew Begbie Elementary is haunted.. it was named after a hanging judge. The girls basement is really dark..when i went there.. you'd hear noises ..and this one time.. i swear there was no one down there..but the door opened and closed by itself.. since then.. i went to the one for the little kiddies on the 2nd floor.. haa.. but i have heard that other ppl have seen and heard things there

| Re: haunted story from Stanley Park Quote: Originally posted by yinghung First of all nice theard it took me like 2 days to finish reading it all the way from the beginning. The story Iam about to tell is about the humongous Oak tree (not sure what kind of tree it so I will refer it as a Oak tree) in Stanley Park. I have heard this tree is being haunted by "TreeJing"(in chinese) translate into evil posssesed spirts etc. The oak tree is thought to be related to mysterious events and murders that took place in Stanley Park. One of the murders in Stanley Park that I have heard of which is related to the trees is about a couple which drove into Stanley Park late one night for a pleasant cruise around Stanley Park. But suddenly their car died down right where the oak tree was and the bf got out from the car and opened the hood to check what's wrong with the car while the gf stayed in the car to wait. The gf was getting quite impatient waiting cuz all of sudden the weather outside seem to changed form a clear skies to pretty windy. After a while the gf falls asleep from waiting and starts to dream off. Her dreams takes her to the events which is happen outside of the car (which she thinks is unreal) and she sees that all of a sudden the branches of the Oak trees extends to where her bf is and grab holds of her bf's neck and it tries to strangle him and the bf struggles to try and get loose and in the proccess bumps the car to try and wake his gf for help. However the gf continues to sleep and after a few mins the bf looses the battle and the tree branch breaks his neck and the branch raises to it 's orignal height and the bf hangs from the tree. Once this happens the gf pops awake and it is morning already and she gets out of the car and looks for her bf. But couldn't find him and then she looks upwards and she sees her bf being hanged up in the tree and screams then faints. The End. | Yeah I heard about this. Well not the story but I heard a bunch of taiwanese tourist was there at the oak tree and one of them had sixth sense and they could see things. While they were there that person saw a ghost hanging on da tree. I think my mom told me this, didn't know if it was true or not. I was told not to go to stanley park, beaches (esp. da UBC ones) at night, those places are haunted or something. But I guess I never listend.. |

anyone been to the park, which is when you get off Patterson skytrain, go down the stairs, and you see that park? Central Park is it?
has anyone tried going there at 10:00pm at night and actually walked a whole circle/around the park before?
its quite amazing how my friends took 5 steps inside and just screamed and ran for their lives.
