yeah, i can jump pretty high for my height (5'8") but that doesn't do me any good against a 6'7" white guy who ends up skying me.  |

and i'm in for a RS team. as i said up there, i'm 5'8 as well. have NO vertical whatsoever. and, i've gained a crapload of weight, so my speed is gone.
wow, i make myself sound really good eh?
but seriously, i'm looking for a 2nd team to play on. my team is going to switch from tuesdays to the new thursdays 'beer-league' or whatever it's called. ahh, just checked, the 'rec' league. so, if you guys can get a team together on tues/wed, i'm in for sure!

c'mon, we can take anybody with only the three of us! 
well, i don't know anyone who'd want to play. what we'd need are women. and lots of them. prolly at least 7. unless we can get 5 really dedicated girls, 7 is usually a good number. 7 guys as well is usually good.
so lets see.
we only need 11 more people. doh.

they got three straight point till we got ourselves organized. finally got one on a long huck. traded points back and forth. spectactular cutting by moi. skyed some tall guy for one point.  finally tied the game and then got the lead. but then they came back with two successive points to win. sigh.
so windy today too. spencer fields has to be the windiest place eVar.

aw crap. too bad! i actually like windy fields. when we first started playing -- we entered a tournament. the wind was the all-great-equalizer vs an uber overpowered squad. it was great. we only lost by 1 point when in reality, we should've been owned 13-0.
our women have always been not bad. we've had the same core 3-5 women on my team since we started. even though they aren't the most athletic, or most talented, they ARE experienced. so we usually steal quite a few points by just using them and them alone!

skill-wise, that team and ours was pretty even ('cept the girls of course).... but yeah, the wind did help us from time to time. but it also got us back. lots of missed catches, etc.

well, i just found out that my co-captain decided to put us in tier 6 cuz of all the new people we're going to have. oh well, we'll see how it goes. we'll probably be playing wednesdays (or thursdays).
