Across the highway from mary winspear centre (saancha hall) and diagonally across from mcdonalds/the dickens etc...
I'll ask my friend, her mom is on some sort of board or something in sidney who approved it. Clearly the first thing to consider when finding a place to live is how close Timmys is.

A Tim Hortons/Petro Canada gas station was approved by city council in Sidney at the above mentioned location over 2 years ago. Although I THINK it might have been for the opposite corner (accross from mcdicks). Not sure what the hold up is.

It was funny. He looked so sad when I said it was about a half hour away.

Isn't there Timmy's in the Esso at Mt.Newton? I work at the airport and the guys are always coming back with Coffee and Muffins or Donuts, I just assume that's where they're getting it from cause vic is too far. They are putting a Tim Hortons in the airport right now that's supposed to be in by September or something... not that anyone wants to pay for parking to go to Tim Hortons, but ya.

Why split up the Timmies meets? Isn't driving the reason we're here?

^ You may as well have asked me to.
The Timmies near Save-On is a great location. The Island Highway and the Pat Bay lead right to it, and it's relatively central for people who live in/around Victoria. Plenty of parking. Sure the cop-shop is next door, but there's no problems as long as people play nice.
Driving in from Sooke/Sidney does take a fair amount of time though. I'm sure it gets boring when you have to drive it every day to go to/from work.
On the other hand, we're lucky not to have to deal with drive times in the Lower Mainland...
