the reason you should be getting more of your protein from FOOD than from protein supliments is real food (beef, pork, chicken, etc) contains more nutrients than just protein.

SkinnyPupp 09-14-2009 10:46 PM

And good fat too

Are oats and nuts absolutely necessary when bulking? I wanna gain some size but I cant have alot of what's mentioned in the bulking part of the first post

Mainly wheat, oats, nuts, and too much milk doesnt sit too well with my stomach.
I dont wanna be eating steak 24/7/365

waddy41 08-05-2010 12:56 PM

Why don't you want to eat steak?
I average 4 steaks a week

!Yaminashi 08-05-2010 01:00 PM

I have at least 4 steaks a week as well, but I'm only very very slowly putting on weight.

It just seems like although I'm incorporating more beef into my diet, I'm still missing out on the oats, nuts, milk, whole wheat pasta etc,
however not by choice

I've been saving my bacon grease in a jar in the fridge and throwing it away when its full so I don't clog up my drains.

Do you think its a good idea to use my saved bacon fat as a cooking oil instead of canola?

cunninglinguist 08-09-2010 12:57 PM

SkinnyPupp 08-09-2010 05:22 PM

Used motor oil is more healthy than Rape (canola) oil

So, how do you guys cook / marinate your chicken breast so it tastes relatively good and is more tender than rough?

SkinnyPupp 08-25-2010 01:30 AM

Easy: Don't use chicken breast. Thigh meat is tastier and more nutritious

I second this. I have been cooking them on my george foreman for awhile but I need a way to change them up. I usually have them plain with franks red hot sauce.
