I went back and read the thread after my comment, I wonder if Hondaracer is still dreaming about Ashley the stripper :lol

I'll be there with a buddy for a concert but I imagine everyone reading it in future will be looking for family destinations lol.

Just spent 6 days in Montreal for a Bachelor Party last Thur - Tues

Whats your guys age?

Family?

Kids?

Y'all want to see tits or y'all want to see wholesome shit

Early 30's, he's single, my wife and kids aren't coming. The rippers was never really my cup of tea but we're open to any suggestions. I usually try to lean towards stuff that's unique to the place.

So far all we've got planned is to hit up the Fine Arts Museum, Schwartz deli, and one of the Grinder restaurants.

Seeing as you are going to Schwartz Deli, if you guys are up to the task, give Lester's Deli a shot for a back-to-back comparison to Schwartz. Lesters earns a top spot of one of my favourite places in Montreal for smoked meat sandwiches. Interesting characters and neighbourhood regulars hit this place up. Owner is a bit of a funny guy. Don't let the menu fool you; You can opt for just the sandwich only and share a combo between the two of you guys.

Also, for Schwartz, if you haven't been, there are two sides to it. One is the original restaurant and often has a line up. Next door to it on the left is the take out location without the wild lineups if you guys don't want to wait in line too long. Ask for medium fat.

Cool things to check out imo is their Chinatown. Way better than ours, lively and very multicultural tourists

Notre Dame if you guys are into that, we didn't go in cause they had private wedding going on, but if you going to Chinatown you within walking distance.to notre dame

Also within walking distance is old port and F1 track

I would recommend downloading the Bixi app, it's like Shaw Go bikes. Very bikeable city but if y'all are like me and don't have the best cardio stamina (compared to my early 20s ) would recommend going for the electric bikes, little more $ but worth it getting out of port area . Downhill going in

Cut Uber cost down

Titty bars
Chez Paree best one as per the bachelor party company we boooked through.
We went and I agree the talent is 10/10, comparable to our Brandis imo

Cabaret Kingdom we also went too, didn't feel as busy as it should be, such low energy from the crowd for some of the dancers. Mind you us degenerates also went on a thursday at around 1130pm

You guys plan to to clubbing? Hard to guess when it's a small group of guys our age group

If so I can post about clubs

They also have supper club (restaurant then transforms to club after 10/11) but we all felt the food was whatever.

If yall into clubbing I can also go into depth here

A few rooftop bars
AIR Rooftop
Terrace William Gray
Les enfents terribles

Also Just for Laughs is based in Montreal, if yall into comedians maybe check if they got anything going on during your stay.

We saw Kenny Chieng, good venue reasonably priced

I had a Airbnb on saint laurent street and one morning heading towards that mountain, I stumbled upon eggspectation, they have great brunch dishes. Eggs benedict, potatoes, and fruits all on one plate, very filling! This was 4 weeks ago, how's the weather down there now?

I agree on the Chinatown part. wtf is our Chinatown so ghetto compared to theirs..

bcrdukes 08-08-2022 10:27 AM

You should have stayed near Beaudry Station!

CivicBlues 08-08-2022 10:31 AM

Can attest to their Chinatown, had some great food there and it's actually safe to walk around and enjoy yourself. It's like if Richmond was made urbane and walkable.

I have decided at some point Hondaracer is going to come into this thread... go "Oh yah... Angela..." and then leave his wife and plans for Europe this fall to go to Montreal on a quest to find her again.

I call this story "Montreal Enchantée"

Hondaracer 08-16-2022 08:39 AM

I legit haven’t been to a strip club since those posts lol

Feels like a waste of money after my experience in mont :awwyeah:

murd0c 08-26-2022 02:43 PM

I stayed in old Montreal when I went and straight up loved it, walking around bar hoping was the best. Wear good shoes because the cobble stone could hurt your feet after a while. If you like seafood Chez Delmo was awesome, the lobster bisque was some of the best I have ever had and and so are the frog legs.
