NVM, those Eagle shots that you got are great! Some of your best work! Too bad that the back ground on the head shot is totally white, and not some other more interesting background. Otherwise, amazing stuff. Some of your best i've seen here!

Senna, looks like i should have stayed to play with some of your Nikon stuff! Rad shots too, looks like all the birds were modeling for you! How long did you stay for, and was it busy with other photographers while you were there?

Right on! Awesome stuff! Decent weather all day so far and still nice outside this very minute. I'm stuck at home doing assignments and catching up on some new reading material.
When I get my 300mm f2.8 I'll be out there every chance I get!

Looking forward to that Euro! When is that happening? Some along with Senna sometime, he has some sexy Nikon toys for you it seems (take out "Nikon" and that doesn't sound right).

I just saw this movie The Big Year, and loved the scenery in it and the animals, my gf asked me if "birding" was an actual thing, I offcourse nodded like I knew because a man knows everything... but I honestly have no idea... I know there's bird photography like you guys in here which looks awesome, but is that big year bird spotting stuff real ??

Nikon also has a 200-400mm f/4 VR

not really comparable to my $1400 lens. looks like birding ain't cheap for Nikon? i'd love a 2.8 400mm Canon, but this f/5.6 keeps me in the game in the meanwhile.

yea, those Nikkor lenses are expensive.
If its not raining much tomorrow I'll come out to BB and Reifel after that.
