Goddammit, I totally forgot I had a meeting with my financial advisor at 11am tomorrow! I'll probably head over to BB after. The new Canon 200-400 with the built-in TC looks promising. Sounds like my new Abbotsford Airshow lens! |
snowing like crazy in LV! whoa! |
^ I know! So much house at my house! |
well, after shovelling the driveway(for her), i made my way out to the holy bird land. i was freezing by about 12:30 or so, so i didn't last too long. i never warmed up from doing the yard before i left. anyways, i took most of these with my 1.4x TC , and i think i'll only really use it when there's a lot more light(max detail). http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-...12/01/bbs2.jpg http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-...12/01/bbs3.jpg http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-...12/01/bbs4.jpg http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-...12/01/bbs5.jpg cool thing i saw today was two coyotes(only got one in the pic) hunting alongside the owls and hawks. http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-...12/01/bbs6.jpg |

Red, where did you see the Sandhill Crane? NVM, nice pictures overall. I've never been a huge fan of flash in bird photography, but your exposing nicely. Keep it up! Went shooting at Iona in the rain today. Didn't see alot, but rain always adds good atmosphere to an image. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7178/6...a9129912_b.jpg Another from last week that i just found http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7197/6...08d6fac2_b.jpg Thanks! |

I'm bird watching/photographing this very minute. There is a Red-Breasted Sapsucker, a pair of Downy Woodpeckers, one Northern Flicker and I saw a few Varied Thrush as well. The Sapsucker won't come close. Maybe I should put some fruit out to lure him in! heh I love having a forest for a backyard :) |

i bought 80' of 3/16" steel cable and stretched it between two trees in my backyard. so far, i've got a hummingbird feeder, two feeders full of seed, and a couple of suet cages on it. my first bird with my 70-200 f/2.8: http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-...012/02/sp4.jpg |
My photo made it onto the Canadian Wildlife Services calendar! :D http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...rap/photo1.jpg |
