Osprey landing on nest, and being dive bombed by Purple Martins. |
I was playing around with my Canon in West Vancouver and captured these photos. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zn_PhfNeWm...0/IMG_1167.jpg http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vTpou2cgUa...0/IMG_1127.jpg |
^^^ I like the first one! It looks like the gull is waiting/hoping for food inside the bag the guy is holding. |

nice shots but they are Steller's Jays. it is the provincial bird of British Columbia. |

Makes me sad following up Senna's posts. He's good. Here is another hummer, this one is "wild" (no feeders, just went for a walk around Iona and found him around a bunch of flowers. It started raining after this shot, so didn't take anymore. Will go back again soon! http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8025/7...6311351d_b.jpg |
saw lots of wild hummers today, but my only keeper(and not too happy with it) was from a feeder: http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-...holhummer1.jpg |

for the first time since i got my new camera, i had a chance to get out to 72nd and spend some time. however, weather was crap! i don't think i could have got my speeds up to capture any flyers with my f/5.6, then the rains came. all i got was a heron on a sign as i left: http://www.epicdevelopements.com/wp-.../holheron2.jpg |
Sighting of an owl in a tree on our way back on the trails. Not the best quality cuz weather was crap and it was dark with surrounding trees. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...80221149_n.jpg |
