Best Saw-Whet Owl photo I got two years ago when it was at the very end of that exact same trail where it is now. http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5163/5...957600cff4.jpg |
now that the R-F Bluetail buzz has died down, we have another one. there's a Gyrfalcon out there and he's a celeb. i have some first hand info too & if it's good this weekend, i'm on it. |
^ I didn't see it at New Brighton Park :( |
There are a couple of Peregrines seen there too. |

Do owls/other birds like the rain? Want to find a day to shoot some birds but it's dark and rainy these days... |

Hey were you at the Richmond Nature Park today running what looked like a photo walk with 3 women? I thought it was you because it's quite unlikely for someone to be holding what looked like 2 pro bodies and a 300 or 400 2.8 on both of them :fullofwin: Sorry if I was eyeballing you- I was trying to see whether it was you or not :okay: |
|
Amazing Eagle shots NVM, is this the same location that you pointed out before? How far away were you? Seems pretty close! Great job, you are using the 500 really well! |
|

Yup red TNF jacket! And I saw you right when I walked out of the building with the owls near the bird feeders. I'm terrible with faces and names, but next time I'll say hi (more to have a chance at using whatever you have on you :ilied:) |
