saw this guy around my feeders this afternoon, unfortunately they were frozen. only had my 50mm on, so not the greatest quality too(cropped). however, was very surprised to see them hanging around up here in the sub zero temps:

Long Eared Owl starting to get active after sunset. This was taken about 20 minutes after sunset, and it was too dark to see the owl with my eyes, but it was visible on the camera screen. I call him Mr. Clumsy - you'll see why about half way through. :p

Yes, I was referring to the video. I saw 2 Snowys today, but they were perched on the big round tank like structure by the greenhouses. Too far to bother with pics. The usual Short Eared Owls & Harriers by the BC Hydro training facility too.

I saw those 2 snowy owls on top of the silo as well. took some shots but they're too far away.
