Nice work. I'm thinking of getting the Canon 100-400mm IS. Is that what you have? I can't remember...

I use the Canon 400mm F5.6

niforpix 08-10-2008 12:21 AM

^^ Nice.

Here are few of my shots. Just starting to get into bird photography so it's nothing as "extreme" as Tom's eagle or Kyle's humming bird, plus I only got a 300mm :( :p

Very nice, Kyle. Where did you go? We have got to go to Brackendale. I'll bring the 500 f4 or 400 f2.8. :)

77civic1200 12-14-2008 02:25 AM

That was a few weeks ago in brackendale. I am thinking of going up on monday, kinda waiting to see how the road will be, wouldn't mind some snow on the ground for the shots. Let me know if you want to come, will probably try and head up early cause they are supposed to be most active in the mornings though I have yet too see it.

Senna4ever 12-14-2008 02:37 AM

Ah, shit. I can only do Sundays.

77civic1200 12-15-2008 07:14 PM

Plans for next sunday? found a couple new spots today but man was it windy up there. And what do you mean 500 f4, I only accept bribes in the 800mm range =)

I'd actually love to try out a long prime, my sigma can be slow at times. Let me know whats available and if theres a rental fee =)

Next Sunday? I should be ok. I only have the Canon 100-400 L, but I can bring the 400mm f2.8 or 500mm f4 in Nikon mount. I'll bring the D300 and both of those lenses if I can.

caie-u 12-17-2008 08:32 PM

just woundering where is brackendale?
