Anyone have recommendations for things to do in Vegas if you're going with your SO? I know when you're going with friends you can party and go to clubs and all that jazz but what about just spending time with your SO?
I'm considering either going during the November long weekend or Christmas time.
thanks

That really depends on you guys like.
Check our grand canyon, gun store, pool, eat, and most likely shopping at the outlets or if you're ballin, just shop at caesars palace or any other 5 star hotel.
Go check out all the hotels if it's your first time too. That will take all day. Quote:

thanks | I've gone with my gf twice (around Christmas too) and all we did was shop, gamble, eat at some nicer places, go to all the major casinos on the strip for sightseeing and watch shows. Sightseeing is really overlooked because each hotel really is unique.

Anyways I arrived at ~9:15pm in Vegas Friday and was at the Poker table by 10:30pm at the Bellagio after checking in and changing. Maybe I'm just not a big fan of poker but the people there play so damn tight its like their life savings are on the line (1/2NL). A quick peek around and you see all people playing with shades and lucky coins and shit on the 1/2 tables, and people are having a good time are generally at the 2/5 or 20/40 tables. Took a dinner break and then played til 5am. Went all in and got river-ed It put me on tilt for the rest of the trip. Slept at 6am. Saturday
Still tilting I woke up at 8:30am and went shopping while buddy kept sleeping. Went to eat buffet at Bellagio for lunch when buddy woke up and then went to shooting range (guns and ammo garage on Dean Martin). For 160 I shot 4 mags of M9, and 2 mags each of M4 and AK47 (highlight of the trip). Lots of people but shooting a gun doesn't take too long.
Afterwards went to MGM for a little bit and then back to Bellagio. Ate at Wynn for dinner and then gambled our way back to Bellagio (Wynn -> Venetian -> Mirage -> Harrah's -> Bellagio) gambled to 7am. Sunday
Woke up at 11:30am to pack and check out. Ate at the buffet again downstairs and then went to gamble again. Soon after we went to Harrah's where the players are way more loose (and the bets are much lower for bacarrat). Played until 7pm and slowly made my hotel to grab my stuff and flew out at 10pm.
my losses and general spending were all within budget so its all good. Way too many fine ladies though. Makes the NSFW threads look like shit. haha
PS. the Carl's Jr location at the airport SUCKS SHIT

I didn't even bother playing poker this when I went last week, their players are way too fucking tight. I ended up playing Baccarat. You are allowed free hands at the 50 or 100 tables @ Aria which makes betting a bit easier. I came out won some but didnt play too much made the trip a bit more fun.
Poker is really annoying to play in Vegas.

Poker is really annoying to play in Vegas. | I went to Aria to check it out, I didn't get a good vibe out of the place. Seems more of a family place to me.

Aria playing Baccarat was really good, but everything else was so-so.
First night I played at Cosmo playing Pai-gow and hit a Straight-Flush... 1 car off from 7card straight flush with joker
2nd night played blackjack switch @ Bellagio, made $800 there.
3rd night played double deck @ Wynn lost 500 .
4th night did baccarat and won just under 1000.
I like playing Baccarat at Aria but Bellagio is good for most stuff just their Baccarat is a bit too high.

Saturday daytime - Wet Republic. Decent pool party.
Satruday night - VIP@XS. Lots of ladies, amazing time. Won $4000 at the club casino.
Sunday daytime - VIP@Encore. BEST. PARTY. I've been to in my WHOLE life. Girls overflowing at our table right next to the DJ. Porter Robinson straight KILLED it.
Sunday night - VIP@XS round 2. No good. Lost $2000 at the club casino.
Best Vegas trip so far! My god. Currently going through withdrawl at work.

Friend & his gf just got upgraded from a basic suite to city view suite by saying it was their 5 year anniversary (it wasn't) at time of booking. Then used the same line at check in and got further upgraded to a full suite!
Worth a try for anybody going with their SO's.

Got back from Vegas yesterday. Just me and le gf (first Vegas trip together). I normally go with my guy friends and she would go with her gf's.
Friday - Checked in @ Elara (previously PH Towers Westgate). Booked a studio but got upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite facing Paris with $20 sandwich. Walked around, ate and watched Ka. Ka is a pretty good show, worth it if you can get a good price on tickets.
Sat - Went to Marquee Dayclub. Got pre-sale so we barely had to wait in line. Ended up partying with a bunch of girls and me being the only guy. Left around what I think was 4pm. Got way too drunk lol. Passed out when we got back to the hotel. When we woke up, we just ate and shopped for a bit while the stores were still open in PH.
Sun - Encore Beach. Again got pre-sale and no line up in the pre-sale line so we got in right away. My drunk ass thought it would be a good idea to get a table after we got in so we did just for me and my gf lol. 1 bottle min. I thought we would have a hard time finishing 1L of vodka but managed ok. Just paced ourselves from 11am - 6pm. Surprisingly I got more drunk @ Marquee without a bottle but then I didnt eat that day. Partied with the table next to us, few guys and groups of girls. Walked from Wynn back to PH after just going through the hotels to check them out.
Mon - Early flight back so we didnt do anything.
I thought we might have a boring trip in Vegas (mainly doing shopping/shows) but it turned out pretty much what I do on a guys trip to Vegas, which is just partying.

Heading down for Thanksgiving weekend with the GF. Thinking about going to a show. Wanting to hit up "O" but it's a bit pricey ( 200 bux per ticket plus). Anyone know any websites where they are a bit cheaper?
Was also recommended by a friend to go see La Reve instead. Anyone been?

Go see La Reve! By far, it's one the BEST cirque du soleil shows in Vegas. I've watched Mystere, KA, and La Reve. Haven't seen O yet, because it was pricey.
If you search cirque du soleil on google, you'll see the official website, of which "sometimes" you'll find cheap tix. I bought my KA tickets for $60 each on their official website.
Also, if you go to Vegas, you'll see a Tix4tonight booth, which sometimes sells same day discounted cirque du soleil shows, but you'll have to line up to buy them.

Was also recommended by a friend to go see La Reve instead. Anyone been? | I used the Bellagio website and they actually had 15% off with better seat selection than other websites, so I would try that first. Also, I ordered by caling them and they were able to give me great seats (dead center) that weren't shown on their website.
Hope that helps.

hey guys, how old do you have to be to buy tickets for shows at vegas? And by this i mean at the malls
on another note,
i will be travelling by foot for the most part, so anyone know of any shooting ranges or indoor go kart arenas that are accessible by foot preferably on the strip?
