You can always try those "Tix 4 Sale" booths to see if they have any of those other Cirque shoes for discount prices, go early though or the good ones will be sold out for the day.

I watched KA and it was pretty impressive. It has a pretty good story line to it. Ive heard both O and KA are better than la reve, though.
By the way, google discount tickets for those shows. I bought tickets for KA at half the price of what they were selling through their own website

Not REALLY... the outlet mall on the north end of the strip is very similar to Seattle Premium Outlets. The outlet mall on the south end is an indoor mall, but it doesn't have anything very special.

Las Vegas Shooting Range | Las Vegas Gun Store | Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Winchester, Spring Valley, Paradise | 702-440-4867 has a shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off - free of charge. The driver also has coupons for go-karting ask him for some. Not sure where it is though.

Planning on heading down in December for about 3-4days, either Dec 19/20-23 or 26/27-30th. Would you choose before or after Christmas to go?

How long do people usually stay in Vegas? Would 3 or 4 days be too short? I've never been before and I'll be heading down with the SO.

Generally, is December a good time to head down to Vegas? and when should I start looking and booking for flights and hotels?

Lastly, is December considered "high season" so flights/hotels are more expensive than usual?

Thxthx

If you're not staying for New Years and want to avoid the crowds then go BEFORE Christmas.

If you and your SO are the party type, go after Christmas.

3-4 days is fine. You'll probably end up going again so don't feel like you have to do everything in this one trip. Book flights/hotel whenever you see sales.. I normally book 3 months in advance. December before Christmas is usually cheap. After Christmas, prices skyrocket because of New Years events.

I rented a car while I was in Vegas so we just drove there.

However, beside Showcase Mall (where the M&M Store and Coca-Cola store) there's a shop that's dedicated to Grand Canyon tours. Not sure how good it is though. I think they're all about the same because they drop you off at the South Rim and then you take the internal shuttle busses to get around most of the time.

I forgot to mention, wifey and and I stayed at Aria and the $20 trick worked (although I did $20 per head so that it was $40). I made it all back in Blackjack right away though LOL.

Be warned however, since Aria is sort of recessed back away from the strip that the views may not be as good as say, PH or something, but we did get a higher floor. The guy at the check-in even whipped out the floor plan and showed us the room in front of all the other guests LOL.

How is NY NY? I'm flying down to Vegas in January to get my sleeve done and NY NY seems to be the most reasonably priced.

It's not bad. We're staying in the Empire tower, according to them was renovated not too long ago. Everything is pretty clean and up to date, and I don't have high expectations. It is quiet in my room, can't hear the rollar coaster from up here. We are up in the 32nd floor. The view is great from here at night, corner room. however there is a huge pillar towards the corner, thati have yo go around the pillar to look at the other side of the view.

The wifi is included in resort fee, but the connection is very slow in the afternoon and evenings when other people are using it. In the room there is also a iPod/iPhone dock with integrated clock. Flat screen LCD tv if anybody wants to watch tv.

Just sitting in the LV airport waiting for our plane home...what a trip. My wife and I got invited into bottle service by another couple at The Bank club last night, that shit's fun!!

Also did a helicopter tour to the grand canyon, totally worth it. The helicopter ride there from the airport was awesome. I'll have to drive there one day and check out the damn in person.

We also saw avicii at marquee day club at the Cosmo, such a crazy experience

we stayed at the Cosmo and it was awesome, got upgraded to the east tower fountain view too since we told th it was our honeymoon (got married last week so this was a quick get a way)

It's gonna take a while to recover from this one lol

What kind of room did you ended up getting with the tip? Was it a 1 Bedroom Suite or just a higher floor room?

I did a $20 tip on check-in and I was on comped nights and i find the upgrade varies.

We were put up first on a 33rd floor room (pseudo corner) next to the ac roof and it was pretty dirty and got switched to a 28th floor room with similar view.

I have to agree the view was mediocre as Aria is recessed from the strip. But the amenities and features of the room were GREAT!
