Smoking deal for Westjet flying out of Abby to Vegas. I just got a flight that leaves on Nov 22, and returns on the 26th for $191/pp!

It looks like as of now that westjet non-stop flight from abby to vegas flies only two days a week, thursdays and sundays. Unless I am missing something.
Round trip price I see is $196. Still a pretty awesome deal. Maybe as the flights fill up they will open a friday and monday trip as well.

Can you guys recommend me some good shows to see in Vegas?
I've booked Zarkana and KA so far. I need 1 more..
I'm thinking Michael Jackson One or David Copperfield..

I saw One (the MJ tribute show) last time I was in Vegas and I thought it was good. Mystere and O are both pretty popular (and the longest running ones out there)
I liked Blue Man Group if you're looking for something non Cirque.

I saw David Copperfield a few years back if you like magic. Pretty good show. A couple of friends have recommended Absinthe as well. (although it sounds like more of a show for adults so might not work if you're taking kids along with you)

Hey all,
Heading down to Vegas on July 15th and will be going to some of their day and night clubs. Just wondering, would it be better to buy pre-sale tickets right now before I fly down or to just get guest list? I ask because the tickets for my gf and I will be ~50 USD total, however, I heard that guestlist generally allows the girl to get in free but the guy pays ~70 - 100 USD.
Thanks in advance! |

a group of girls will get in free...not i highly doubt and the guy tickets will probably sell out way before hand.
you'll end up having to line up early in the morning to try to get in and pay full price

Ticket holders (buying online ahead of time) always usually have a separate line up and will get in quick

If you're going to be spending ~$100/dude then I'd highly recommend spending a little bit more and just doing bottle service. You end up skipping all the hassle of waiting in line and you got a place to drink and relax. The bouncers are really good at making sure people that aren't part of your party GTFO haha

I was told by a promoter dude that buying tickets online ahead of time to Wet Republic doesn't guarantee entry and I could line up for hours and possibly not get in.. any able to confirm?
Tiesto is playing there the day we want to go

Was just there this weekend, freakin' HOOOOOOOOT! Record high like 45 degrees, I was melting!
They opened a new Earl of Sandwich at Caesar's.
Also I was very disappointed in the White Castle. Sliders were dry and stale. Much better in New York.

Oh ya and some of us got the runs eating at Caesar's Buffet this time. I'm pretty sure it was from the raw oysters and the dungeness crab. Both tasted a off before I spat it out, I would stick to the boiled snow crabs.

Tiesto is playing there the day we want to go | It's true. The only guaranteed way of getting in is if you do bottle service or grease the fuck out of the bouncers, but if you're going to be greasing the bouncers then you might as well just get a table

I don't understand spending $500 on day clubs when it's 45 degrees out. It was fucking hot last weekend.
Earls was garbage. We explored outside and had Manta Ramen and some shaved ice place in Chinatown. $8 ramen and $5 shaved ice >>> overpriced strip food.

Never again. That was just nuts.
We couldn't believe how hot it still was at like 3am, when we would walk outside a casino onto the strip. The heat coming off the buildings... it never let up lol

Yea at night it dropped to "only" 29-32 which was still suffocating but at least it wasn't the scorching sun on your face and feet. Barely made it from Venetian to Fashionshow Mall lol.
I also had a chance to try Lotus of Siam, reminds me a lot of Phnom Pehn, looks ghetto and plain on the outside. Go inside and the restaurant is spacious and packed. About 1 hour wait for a table. Newspaper clippings and awards plastered all over the wall.
Food was delicious. Must get the Crispy Duck Curry.
There's limited options for drunk 5am grub. Earl blows everything else out of the water. Of course for a regular lunch or dinner there's plenty of better places.

The 'secret' pizza place at the Cosmo is still hard to beat when it comes to a drunken late night snack. |

It will be freakin' busy this weekend lol.
It really depends on what YOU want to do in terms of "Must-do", everyone has different preferences and who you're going with makes a big difference.
Going solo? or with spouse, a date? or bunch of guys/girls? Family? Business?
Gun-range?
Exotic car experience?
Gambling?
Clubbing/Partying?
The food?
I would recommend checking out a beach club as those are usually a great time and you can't really do that in Van. The Caesar's buffet is a must.
