Cosmo has perfume or something pumped thru their central air and that's why the entire hotel just smells so pleasant. It's a noticeable difference after walking through smokey hotels like Harrahs

Cosmo definitely smells nice, do they spray scents all over the vents or something? It's like walking into a Victoria Secret or something lol...
When I was there a few years back, Marquee Night Club was also the hottest spot in town, which is also inside the Cosmo.
it was teh best back in the days because of avicii and dash berlin being resident DJs

now its hakkasan for calvin harris and omnia for other djs (omnia being newest)

Depends on what time you go.
Usually, they cut the line at 3 pm, and some of the people will go for a late lunch buffet because lunch is cheaper than dinner and they try to make that meal an early dinner.

i've never been a smoker, and ever since a kid i'm had a low tollerance for cig smoke, just gives me a stomach ache etc.

Walking into fucking Excalibur was like walking into an ashtray/bleach bottle lol, fucking disgusting

when i first went to Excalibur, i was 10, that was back in 1990 when they first opened so yes, that's what you expect for a 26 years of a hotel to smell like.

I've smoked in the past and I have friends that smoke, so second hand smoke is sort of a normal thing for me. I don't love it, but I don't hate it. I think I just tolerate it because smoking in general is so normal in our society today. I felt like I lost 10 years off my life by simply walking into Harrahs the first time and breathing it all in.

Excalibur is by far the worst smelling lol, it's a mixture of stale ashtray and a dirty barn. Doesn't help they house the horses for their evening tournament jousting show.

Treasure Island also smells really bad. Most of the older hotels have poor ventilation and lots of old people chain smoking away on the slots.

It'll be around noon. I'm assuming weekdays not too bad of a wait.

Pool parties usually open up around March but some of the headlining DJ's don't start up until May or so

Just got back from vegas.

I rented a car. Zero buffets.

1) Sweets Raku: it's a dessert joint. Think of it as Guu but they do desserts.
It's unique, is it worth it, yeah it's not bad.
their unique dessert

fruit, panna cotta, fruits dessert. Puree poured in front of you so the white cholocate melts.

Apple is actually has cream inside, you have to crack it to enjoy it with the baked apple pie. * hard to explain.
They are 15 minutes from the airport so it's a good place to stop by.

2) Rollin Smoke Barbeque
the BEST BBQ i have EVER had; their RIBS were great. I've been to TEXAS and this is still better. 6 minute drive from Wynn, located at a hole in the wall place; right beside a titty bar.
a) everyone was professional. SUPER nice, and 3 people came by to ask what we liked, if we had a good time. This is a HOLE in the wall joint, no service, no one serves you but chef, cashier, bus boy came out to chat with us.
b) Will post pics later: look at the smoke ring.
I got the 3 rib platter with cream corn tatty tots.
totally epic. REALLY fall off the bone, and you get to pick 6 diff sauce and u just squeeze as much sauce as you need.
Best 24 dollars spent. So SO good.

I actually went back to Lotus of Siam & This Rolling Smoke ribs joint just last week.

Note to self; do not order anything over MEDIUM spicy at Lotus of Siam, you will regret it shitting out ur colon.
Note 2: When you line up at Lotus of Siam; download their APP called List. ( I think that's what it's called); it's RIGHT down to the T on your reservations so you don't need to wait there silly for 2 hours.

SOOOOOOOOOOO.. what you can do is to go to the ROLLING stone smoke house (ribs) BUT drive down 30 seconds more and go look at the titty bars called Treasures.

4 dances later; it was already 1 hr and a few beers and we went back to Lotus.

Off to Vegas in a weeks time. Staying at the Cosmopolitan, gf's parents are paying for the entire trip

Want to eat my way through the Cosmo's restaurants. Obviously going to do Wicked Spoon buffet, Eggslut, Secret Pizza Place, Momofuku, and Milk Bar.... any other suggestions? Beauty and Essex and Jaelo sound really good. Must try dishes?

Haven't been to Vegas in 6 years. Last time was actually January 2011, two weeks after the Cosmo had just opened!

Going to vegas for Bachelor Party in 3 weeks.
This is what I have planned for the trip.

Girls are coming too but are doing their own thing. Only joining us for some meals and go-karting.

The plan is to buy drinks at the club to a minimum.
Buy drinks at walgreens and predrink in our room before the club.
Hope that some girls will approach us and buy us drinks in the club.

lol
