i just came back from vegas like last week.. got VIP at tao it was off the hook... cost like $987 for 2 bottles but then you have to add +$50 tip to host + $50 tip to bouncer + $20 tip to busser ...

I would recommend paying cash up front, that's what I did so that none of your drunk friends will start ordering more bottles on your credit card.

If anyone is thinking of going to Vegas, Allegiant Air has their "Buy 1, fly 1 free" promo going on again.

Check hotel rates and check to see if they have free night deals. When I went a few weeks ago, Mandalay Bay had a stay 2 nights($125/night), get the third night free deal. Try to go when there are some big events, as the hotels will have special rates. I went to Vegas when they had a bunch of big trade shows (I went to WPPI), and there were many deals to be had. $100/night at the MGM ain't too bad.

If you want to book the hotel and flight separately.. then I usually check Fatwallet for hotel deals.

Allegiant Air

Does anyone know why Allegiant Air "flights only" are so darn expensive these days? I'm planning to go the first weekend of June and it never was priced so high. It seems like Allegiant doesn't have those wicked cheap fairs like they used to anymore. I'm thinking maybe I'm looking a bit too early for June flights? Hmmm . . . or maybe oil prices are high so they are compensating for fuel charges. . . but I rather they tell me that it's fuel surcharges I'm paying for.

Right now is bad cause of spring break. June is a bit far away. I'm sure if you check between mid/late April for June, the prices will be better.
