gonna be in vegas june 23, wonder if ill see NHL players since the awards are on june 22nd

Really? I always get a car when I'm in Vegas and never have problems with parking. Valet's free at all hotels. If I plan to drink, I'll take a cab but I don't drink much in Vegas anymore. I don't treat Vegas as a party destination anymore, it's more a sanctuary away from Vancouver... lol... my last trip, I went hiking at Red Rock for 2 days...

I checked allegiant air already, not the best deal for now.

With allegiant, I usually book separately flight and hotel. It's only worth booking allegiant packages when they have ridiculous flight prices. If the flight prices are low for your particular date, it's cheaper to book flight and hotel separately.

Use www.mycheapvegas.com for hotel promo codes. Which hotel are you looking to book anyways? I can help you out if you need help, i go on 2-3 trips a year.

Has anyone tried Priceline to get a 5 Star hotel for <$100/night?
or 4 Star for <$50/night?

I got in Tao and XS with Jeans and dress shirt and dress shoes. But we did VIP if that made a diff.

Don't need to bust out the suit although chicks seem to dig it more.

Wearing a suit implies you have money

Money = girls = laid

BlackV62K2 05-11-2011 10:07 PM

Jeans, dress shirt and dress shoes is fine. You'll have no problem getting into any clubs in Vegas like that. I've been to pretty much all the big clubs there and that's what I always wear.

I recommend you hit up some pool parties too. Encore beach and Wet Republic on Sunday is crazy. Tao beach isn't bad as well but I've only been there on a Friday and Sat. I just got back and I miss it already :(

westcoastgsr 05-11-2011 10:16 PM

Jeans dress shirt and dress shoes are fine. I gotten in to all the big clubs wearing that. Keep in mind almost evey guy is wearing that same outfit. I thought of rocking a blazer but its too fucken hot to do that in the summer.

Dressy runners are kinda borderline and seen some people get denied. My friend got in XS with Chucks but we had a hook up so I guess it depends.

shawnly1000 05-12-2011 02:05 PM

Are bills like this common there?

Anyone have experience @ Luxor? Thinking of the pyramid spa suite near the end of Aug.

Obsideon 05-17-2011 09:13 PM

So I just got back from Vegas yesterday, I had a freakin' BLAST!...

TAO on the weekends is PACKED from wall to wall, could barely move, not my best experience, the floor is super sticky too.

OMG I had so much King and Snow Crab, I don't want to see anymore crab for a looong time!... but oh so delicious, I must have ate like 30lbs of crab the last 5 days!

Luxor - hmm... I've never been there but my friend was staying there and he said the rooms are really old, a small 12" CRT TV (even Treasure Island has a small flat screen) and the elevators move diagonally so it made my drunk friend more nauseus on his way back to his room LOL!

I'd avoid it unless you get an excellent deal that can't be beat.

The location is bad and the hotel sucks lol

Obsideon 05-17-2011 10:48 PM

^
True, the cost of taking the cab to and from anywhere would end up costing more than staying at a more conveniently located hotel for slightly more.
