I have a question for you guys who been to Vegas many times.

I heard that if you have total rewards membership and you do some little casino gambling then next time you can have free nights

Its sort of like when you gamble, points are collected etc..

Anyone know how it works to get free nights or heard about it?

Thanks!

Right on man, didn't hit up any strip clubs? Tao was pretty nuts, but i went when Trey Songz was there.

Dude, the line up for Earl of sandwich was crazy. I was playing the wheel of fortune game across from it.

Glad you had fun.

PS: Planet hollywood is hella dirty, GF saw a cockroach in the washroom!

yeah. i heard trey songs was dope there. met a few girls on sunday that said he killed it. earl of sandwich lineup was pretty mental. but they moved it along pretty quick. plus the sandwiches are a pretty good deal especially on the strip.

p.s. the cosmopolitan is a SICK hotel. i swear there were dime pieces EVERYWHERE!!!

p.p.s. spearmint rhino is the shittttttt. dont waste your time with any other peeler bar. lol

Personally I do not recommend Tao unless you have a table. If you are going with just a couple people on the main dance floor, you'll be packed in like canned tuna. It's literally wall to wall jammed.

XS is awesome, Pure is good, Marquee if you can get in.

Sign up for a membership card at the hotel and then just start playing, but to be offered free nights you really have to gamble a LOT. If you only plan to play casually then you will only end up with a bunch of spam mail with pre-sale tickets to random concerts at their hotel chain.

I heard you can cheat the system, by just playing a bit then still able to get free nights :alone:

Yeah I want to go to Tao then at least 1 poolside club (anyone got a recommendation) where going out Friday night and Saturday night there's 5 of us but apparently some of our friends might also fly out. I e mailed a guy from Tao asking about pricing and what not we want a table so he's like $450 min per 3 ppl so it's about $200 a person and we'll grab 3 bottles. Anywhere we plan on going we want bottle service for sure

Planning on driving down June 1-3rd for a VW meet with a bunch of friends. Any tips for the ride down? Places to rest etc. Google states its 20hrs non stop so were going to cycle driving and do it without resting.

The organizers for the car meet bought out the hotel for the weekend but its off the strip. Cheap at 75 a night but is it worth it to spend 150+ for a hotel on strip as what other suggested? We'll be driving so will parking be terrible around the busy areas?

Make sure you give the car plenty of rest. You and/your friend might not need it....but the car certainly does. Try to give it at least 30mins+ to cool...and take that time to eat or something.

do some research on what hotels are in what vicinity then go on priceline.
i got monte carlo for $60 a night for 6 nights when i went last week of August.
pretty much right in the middle of the strip.

there's a groupon right now for palace station (off strip) for $59/2 nights sun-wed check in then $69/2 nights for thurs-sat check in. cheap and i dont know about you, but when im in vegas im in the hotel just to nap and get ready so it doesnt matter to me if its nice or not, esp with my friends.

McDonald in Vegas, still $5 for 20 pieces chicken nuggets?

cheating the system would be betting big when the pit boss is watching you and going back down to betting small when the eyes are off.

pit boss is the guy who is keeping track of the amount you bet per hand vs. the time spent at the table. If he sees you are constantly betting $50/hand and you've sat there for 5 hrs, you'll get some nice perks - free hotel rooms. You'll get nothing if you're only there for 20-30 mins.

For sure, I didnt clarify but I meant we won't be sleeping over etc. Breaks will be had ofcourse.

Haha what a coincidence. Thats the exact hotel the organizers bought out. Is parking free/cheap on the strip cause I mean if were driving mind as well stay out of strip and just drive in and not have to worry about cabs and stuff.

the pit boss doesnt monitor ur play. the eyes in the sky do. everytime a player sits down with a card, the casino has software in place that tracks bets

i dunno whi it is like at other casinos, but palazzo has a 2 hr minimum play with a minimum of $25 per hand before you get any perks

no such thiing as cheating the system

jing 04-08-2012 09:12 PM

MGM Grand, yay or nay? $450 for 4 nights seems reasonable for their new rooms.
