no, just the flights. I think our hotel came out to be..$650~for 3 nights at Cosmo in one of those suites with a balcony/kitchen. My gf got a really good deal cause she knows someone who does LV trip planning as a daily job or something.
I'm going to guesstimate that my WHOLE trip including hotel/airfare will be around...$500....ish

Got a little bit lost there... your hotel is $650 for 3 nights but your whole trip will be around $500?
For hotels, do you guys book through travel websites or directly from the hotel website? Cosmo for 3 nights in their studio room is ~$685 tax in on their site and on Expedia, but on Flight Center it's only $564! That's a huge difference! Might consider staying at the Cosmo instead of Aria since it's a nicer room for the same price as what I booked it for...

From my experience, Cosmo is a better place to stay then Aria. I've never stayed at Cosmo's smaller rooms as I was upgraded to their corner wrap around suite on my first day. But I know to get to the strip, Cosmo is closer. As for booking the hotels, I like booking from them directly since the deals they send me usually is better then out there. I've posted my first stay in Cosmo earlier in this thread! You'll love it! reloaded the video so you can see it with the room number.
20 dollars works at maybe getting you a better view room, maybe a higher level strip view. To get upgraded to there big suites you need to gamble, or show you will be gambling. My friend and I usually take rotating shifts on there rewards card to log in massive gambling hours.

I gave $60 and got upgraded to a $800 per night sky suite for 6nights.
The guy even gave me 2 complimentary breakfast buffets for free. That was like a $40 value. Plus as sky suite members, you get access to free bottled water, pop, juice, small snacks etc. At the mini bar before you head up the room. I probably drank 30 Fiji waters lol

holy nice
what did you say to him and what hotel (Aria?)?
Have 2 rooms under my name this time, was thinking of doing it with more $. I guess Roadster seems to valiate my reasoning
Total noob question here ...
I've never been to a Pool/Beach party in Vegas but I plan to check it out on my next trip down this Summer ... I am totally clueless ... I hear people talking about it all the time.
Am I only restricted to the pool in the hotel I stay in?
If not, which hotel pool do you recommend and why?
Is it pretty much like a Day-time Club, outdoors by a pool in the hotel?
Do you line-up and pay cover the same as a nightclub?
Just order drinks at the bar like any normal lounge?
Dress in swimwear? Or are shorts fine?
Is there table service?
Do people actually swim or just lounge around on the lawnchairs?
Should I even bother to go or just go do other stuff in Vegas in the daytime?
Feel free to add any other input that I'm oblivious to ...

How'd you do the money? Did you just sandwich the $60? Or started with a $20, or nothing?

I've only been to Tao Beach and Encore. It's day time club which is totally different than the hotel pool. You can go there regardless if you're staying @ that hotel or not. Yes, there's a line-up and there is cover. You can get table service just like any other night club. The pools aren't really big\deep enough for you to swim in. People just chill in there and drink. I personally like the day time pool parties. Can't go wrong with house music and chicks in bikinis.
any input on how hot it is there? Weather network says 30 @ day and 10s @ night
Usually it's pretty darn warm for 20 that I have to wear shorts and polo here but we have high humidity.. what about Vegas?
going to vegas 1st weekend of june
this will be my first time since im legal
what do people usually do during the day other than pool parties?
any good shows that happen in the afternoon? any shows to check out other than the cirque ones?
i'm going with 10 female friends..hoping to get free cover/drinks on the house haha
