CMX down 38% today! I don't know man..
All I know pennies stocks are control by market players which has tons of money to play with. They can control the stock either way.

Just be careful.

Gt-R R34 12-17-2007 05:02 PM

i know that hot penny stocks always get thrown around without much research..but here's my contribution (and yes, i've done extensive research into these guys)

http://finance.google.com/finance?q=PINK:ONMC

another one to watch out for is KXL:tsx, especially around the january convention time.

i've done my research on both these guys and they've done very well for me...but i figure i may as well make a contribution here.

check it out and do your own research, gluck.

I work at Canaccord, but I buy through RBC

Supa.Azn 12-17-2007 11:49 PM

Canaccord are the biggest stock manipulators everrr. They have the money to do that though so I cant whine.

If you can take big swing up/down, then penny stocks are suitable for you.

I just can't take that 15-50% swing up/down everyday, too much for me. So I just buy big cap stocks.

I purchased Apple at $185 with my margin account couple days ago. I am looking for a quick 10% before their MacWorld conference in January 15, 2008.

Anyone researched on any big cap stocks on Dow/Nasdaq? Let me know.
I am looking for stocks that is not Tech/Oil related.
Most of my stocks are either Technology or Oil.

I am looking into Citibank (C) ...

Scoobysnax 12-18-2007 12:36 PM

Look into Solar. That sector is still very hot, even though the P/E is kinda crazy for some of the big names like FSLR and SPWR. I just made a killing on CSIQ and LDK the last few weeks :). Also shipping is another sector I invested in. DRYS and DSX are both oversold imo. I would stay away from financial stocks until rates stabilizes.

Don't know if you are interest in retail

take a look at LuLuLemon.
They just went up to $50 & now went down back to $45
Althought I'm totally out of it now, but I will see if I can get back in near high 30+.

I dun think Lululemon will drop below $40, unless something big happens.

lululemon MIGHT have a chance to dip down below $40. I don't think they are worth $40 since their P/E ratio is so high.

Scoobysnax 12-19-2007 01:28 PM

lulu p/e is way too high for a retailer. I rather buy crox.

McDick 12-19-2007 04:58 PM

I don't really LuLuLemon (retailer) because it's way too expensive. I think they are worth $25 similar to American Eagles (AEO).

How often do you shop at LuLuLemon than American Eagles?
Since I don't do any Yoga, so I am sure I won't buy any of their product.

Death2Theft 12-19-2007 05:03 PM

How many people are buying stupid fruity plastic sandals in the winter? How many GUYS shop at lulu?

I mean if women invested their money instead of spending it, they'd put it right on lulu. However since guys do the investing they dont see lulu's potential.

Exactly!
LuLuLemon is only targeting people who buy Yoga/Gym clothing and female buyers only. Their business line is too narrow.

At least I don't like it.

I am still long on MDR, AAPL, BIDU, FWLT, MA.

KLOv3 12-20-2007 01:55 PM

Go RIMM Go.......

xxxrsxxx 12-20-2007 02:06 PM

yes go RIMM go....already up over 10% in after market

Death2Theft 12-20-2007 02:17 PM

Heres a chance for you to work on your "people skills" approach every girl you see wearing lulu and ask them if they do yoga. You'll be suprised by the results.

yeah baby thank you RIMM for a very merry XMA$$$$ told everyone to buy it lol I hope you listened

Scoobysnax 12-21-2007 10:20 AM

I took my gains on RIMM and bought more AAPL. Im with Mcdick, with AAPL reporting in Jan as well as the big conference, the stock should show steady increase up to then.

l4d2_sarge 12-21-2007 10:41 AM

Hey Scoobysnax:

I would recommend that you sell Apple before the MacWorld Conference. According to what happened last few years, Apple usually go down after the MacWorld (when Apple release new products).

I got in $185 two weeks ago. I am going to sell before the MacWorld (due to using my margin account, couldn't take 10% hit in case selloff after earning). But I expected it will go up to around $205-210 before MacWorld.

Everyone knows Apple will beat the earning by a large margin, but it will sell off after earning.

Just don't hold through the earning. But if you buy Apple for long term investment, don't worry about it. Apple looks good throughout 2008.

I am looking into VISA IPO right now. It's coming in January 2008.

Supa.Azn 12-27-2007 03:26 PM

Another STOCK on the radars in the small cap mining is TSX-V:BMK
It has made a jump of 64% during todays trading and has a lot more upside potential. MACDONALD MINES EXPL (BMK:TSX-V) Owns property in the McFaulds Lake area, close to where NORONT (NOT) hit their motherload to shoot their S/P up from pennies to 4-7 dollars. BMK only has 72 mill shares outstanding and plenty of resources. Watch for this stock to soar in the weeks ahead! Do your own DD, im just giving a headup

7seven 01-10-2008 09:27 AM

CMX is really moving today, up over 50%. Got a whack at .155 and .16 and sitting on some certs.
