waddy, ya just saw .97 any reason for the jump?

where you get your quotes?

gdoh, i don't have it all in one, had CUU and BCG (selling)....was going to dump it all into CUU, i know it may not be the best thing but CUU seems like a pretty solid deal

i'll definetly look into the others

thanks

blkgsr 02-03-2011 09:42 AM

ah just saw news release

gdoh 02-03-2011 10:05 AM

FFFFUUUU PPI

rb 02-03-2011 10:10 AM

watching PPI makes me sad. I was thinking about picking some up at .36 last week

blkgsr 02-03-2011 10:30 AM

wow, nice climb today

waddy41 02-03-2011 10:33 AM

oooh nice...
EPO is doing good too.... =)

blkgsr 02-03-2011 10:37 AM

would you guys still get in on either of these? or have they already made their big moves?

waddy41 02-03-2011 10:41 AM

no....just wait for a retracement...most of the time they run up and slide back down a little before the next run up..
most of the time bull flags form (google the image)

rb 02-03-2011 11:02 AM

I wouldn't touch them right now. Extremely tempted but I've been burned far too many times buying on a run-up like that.

blkgsr 02-03-2011 11:03 AM

ya i figured, how are you able to gauge when they will come back down?

do you guys use candle stick graphs?

gdoh 02-03-2011 11:13 AM

www.bigcharts.com

is a pretty good site

waddy41 02-03-2011 11:20 AM

i sold my EPO today...maybe it was a little too early cuz it has been making higher highs...but i rather lock in my current profit

highfive 02-03-2011 11:32 AM

Same here, finally added CUU.

DOHCVTEC 02-04-2011 12:29 AM

Just curious what you all thought: with the TSX nearly touching 14000 (possibly even today), how likely do you reckon we'll have a major correction in the next 2-3 weeks? On one hand, we're close to pre-recession levels, but on the other hand, with so much money printing going on (QE2), it's no wonder the markets are climbing everyday. When money is printed, almost always the first place it goes to is the stock markets.

waddy41 02-04-2011 05:54 AM

in EPO again at .51

DOHCVTEC 02-04-2011 05:56 AM

BCG down again

Do you know the main reason for all the selling? I haven't been following BCG very closely, though I read something about them finding a river running through one of their sites (which I presume is a bad thing for environmental reasons).

Not surprised. That stock is the quintessential pump-and-dump.

On a side note, I sold all my shares in Ballard Power (BLD) today, not wanting to be too greedy (I'll live with 25% profit in 10 days).
