If shit starts to go down in Algeria, I expect a 2-4% drop in one day. *crossing fingers* hope a reversal happens tomorrow

Even if shit doesn't go down Algeria, I'm expecting stocks to continue dropping due to things happening in Libya. I'm probably going to liquidize half of my stocks and wait till all of this is over.
Things are not only screwed up in Libya and Algeria, but also in Yemen, Iran, Bahrain, and Tunisia. Sucks that all these places have such high leverage on the price of oil.

Joe Dwek? He might be involved with CUU in mid to late march. I'm going to look into it.

Whats so good about CUU? Based on their land ownership and its ties with Teck?

What about BCG?

Never bought these stocks before.

cuu is going to go $3+ VERY shortly

the main guy on the stockhouse boards thinks $5 min (some think more)

so today's records highs is still a bargain if that's true

BCG has properties that should benefit from the NTL (so hopefully monday give them the shot they need), Roulston has given some mention of BCG (that's why the stock moved from it's long term hold around .115/.12 to .14 that it's back at now)

couple guys think this stock should be in the high .20's NOW, so when the NTL comes out .30's+......plus they generally release news in March (so they say)

The fact is that CUU is sitting on one of the largest undeveloped copper-gold mines in W. Canada. With Teck having a interest in the company, CUU may become more of a take over stock. The value the company sits on should worth more than the SP it is trading today. It really depends on the feasibility study they are going to release later this year. Especially when Galore Creek is having some problems, CUU might be a better investment depending on the the news released later this year. (Galore Creek is another JV between Teck and Novagold).

I hope it's a 5 dollar min.

i just got into tye recently actually. right now it seems as though there is no buying power, it's a seller's market. they're currently drilling on two properties, but even as just an area play... i'm surprised people aren't picking it up

It was just me fucking around but might as well entertain you guys for a bit. Basically for the past 3 years I've been trading out of an account my mom opened for me @ TD. But on tuesday I was curious and wanted to see what would happen if I tried opening an investment account with RBC and my other savings account. Thing is though I'm only 18. Tried opening a TFSA rbc website tells me I'm not of age of majority. Then I'm like hmm maybe I'll try opening a non tfsa direct investment account. Fill in the online application SIN, DOB, etc. then they tell me wait a day and account should be up and running.

So I was just expecting them to review the application and tell me I can't open an account, well lo and behold wednesday comes around account is up and running. I put $1000 ish into CUU just to see what would happen and all is good. Fast forward to friday CUU goes up almost 40c a share, login to my account and can't see anything. I call them and yeah age of majority stuff and they'll revert the account as if nothing happened, no transfers, no purchases, etc.

Oh wellz. Up 60% with CUU in my TD account so I could care less about the $150 ish my RBC account gained, Just opened an itrade account with my mom last week since the commissions are lower so I think I'll be putting what I had set aside with RBC into there and closing the account altogether. Really no perks being with RBC, just realized I was still under a leo young savers account I started in grade 3 hahaha
