wow...CUU with 700 billion mine? now that's kinda extreme.

IMO purely based on 07 numbers, CUU buyout should fetch you more than the SP right now. I don't know how much better the next RE is.

In Goldman we trust; they are probably behind the silver play as well (those huge $$$ bets that silver is going down)

Me too, out of cash today.

SH kept saying Stifel Nicholas is buying a lot. Apparently they are known to buy stocks that becomes 4-5 baggers. Anyone know about them?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't they brokers like Questrade etc per se? If so than level 2 quotes are just saying who's buying it (i.e. on behalf of their clients) so it may be just be clients who use them as a broker that are scooping up shares and not the firm itself :S

How long do you guys think this selling will last? I'm holding 80% cash right now but am still hesitant on deploying it.

I want to get me some PCY but they need to have an off-take agreement in place before something happens to its SP. What else looks attractive to me?

CUU is too risky IMHO - the market has already accounted for the RE in its SP so the risk/reward is not very good at the moment.

I guess I could always short Westport

Hey Waddy, I am with RBC direct investing.

Strategy used to be buy fundamentally sound company and hold since it's retirement plan but an older co-worker told me his simple strategy of reviewing and selling any stock under 18ema and buy any over if you like them. It's worked well for him and his reasoning is you will not get the top or bottom of moves but you will still profit with trend and be quicker than the institutional buying and selling.

Got a question.

Yesterday I bought some shares in the morning and it averaged out to 2.50/share.

This morning when I woke up and checked the account again, the same share that cost an avg of 2.50/share jumped up to costing 2.59/share.

Any reason why it does this?
