Yeah, me too. Maybe they'll release it later today either near the end of the trading day or after hours. They are located in the west, maybe they don't start work till noon. haha.

Really? why?

shawnly 04-29-2011 09:46 AM

Tempted to grab a bit more in case the release at the close, but at the same time risk is if they don't, it'll drop on Monday? :S thoughts?

highfive 04-29-2011 10:53 AM

If it doesn't release, I don't think it'll drop that much. I don't think ppl are waiting for RE as much as the FS.

iam_dan 04-29-2011 11:01 AM

RIM bombing
pretty hurtin'
hope nobody here was trying to scoop it up after the earnings report hoping for a ride up.. (just yet)

RIM 46.02 // -14.51%

iam_dan 04-29-2011 11:22 AM

BTW......
to all CUU holders hoping for today's release of RE. dont hold your breath.

Page 8 of MD&A clearly states that the RE was rescheduled to April 30, 2011. (tomorrow)

so just sleep on it... or whatever.

edit: sorry, its actually page 21/28

highfive 04-29-2011 11:24 AM

RIM looks like a pretty good bet right now at $46. Same with Cisco.

Yeah RIM might be doing bad in NA compared to Iphones and Androids but I remember reading how blackberries are doing well overseas in the emerging markets.

Who knows? Microsoft might just buy out RIM? haha

Where did you see that? I couldn't find the MD&A?

iam_dan 04-29-2011 11:32 AM

http://www.copperfoxmetals.com/s/FinancialReports.asp

hit the "Mon Jan 31, 2011 Quarterly Report - 1st Quarter" report and browse to page 21/28 (sorry, mistaken page number in my earlier post)

or direct link:

shawnly 04-29-2011 12:02 PM

Think that the fact that the volume for CUU today was relatively low is a decent sign, no panic selling

strykn 04-29-2011 06:04 PM

Anyone here trade / day trade for a living?

BB app world is absolutely pathetic and their newer OS are just as unstable and crash as much as older OS. Even the newest devices have slower interface than android/iOS devices from > 1 year ago.
RIM needs radical changes to properly harness the BBM/BIS technology, it seems like almost everything they do just keeps digging themselves a deeper grave...

classified 04-30-2011 05:07 PM

still no cuu RE? thought it was coming today

BaoTurbo 05-01-2011 03:47 PM

RIM has been doing badly. I was observing their stocks occasionally throughout the past few months and its been a downfall. The Blackberry apps are too good so the OS can't support them making them unstable. Pretty much the BB Playbook was supposed to be their comeback, but they just can't outplay Apple with its simplicity and great apps. Whoever bought Apple stocks when I was still in elementary school 13 years ago, are loaded with cash now I believe

RIM does very well overseas but at the same time for the emerging markets that matter, iphones and androids do even better than RIM.

Hehe 05-01-2011 08:02 PM

waddy41 05-01-2011 09:07 PM

in seoul, majority use iphone, blackberries are few and far between, RIM is a horrid stock when you compare it to the dynamics of AAPL (growth, valuation, free cash, etc)

waddy41 05-02-2011 05:46 AM

no news from cuu yet.....
