Copper Fox Metals Inc. (CUU) has the following new filing(s) recently:

MACDONALD, DAVID MORRIS
SEDI Insider Relationship:
4 - Director of Issuer

Acquired 60,000 Common Shares (Direct Ownership) between the prices of $1.750 and
$1.810 through the public market on July 12th, 2011 (Holdings Change* of 0.5%)

highfive 07-13-2011 11:52 AM

kicking myself for buying at 1.74 lol

Yeah I'm not surprised if it's margin. Didn't one of you guys had a margin called from BMO to deposit funds within 18 hours?

ya but i had never intended on buying it that way...i was selling one stock and buying cuu...the total sell didn't go through but i was able to full my buy on cuu so i had a negative cash in my account....they wanted it covered

blkgsr 07-13-2011 01:57 PM

this is from an investment broken:

Copper fox Metals:

Unless you have "really" reliable information, it isn't something I'd get involved with.
Small speculative mining company....trades on the Vancouver Exchange...with virtually no reported financials.YIKES!
Too hard to varify anything. Total crap shoot...if you are one of the regular investing public.

Over the years if I have had 100 clients come in with old small cap mining certificates, I can honestly say 99 of them
have been worthless.....and the one that wasn't, was worth less than the cost of selling it.

aznl3oi 07-13-2011 03:06 PM

insider Ernesto bought 273 200 shares today. good news?

definitely.. he already owns over 50% of the shares (which he got in the pennies). He could easily cash in and lock in his profit, but him buying another 273k shares definitely means something

Where did you get this?

From what I've seen so far, nothing has really changed with CUU aside from the sell off.

-They've increased the grade cut off so they can use in their FS. A higher quality extraction = faster payback period = increasing the NPV. It's like counting your quarters to toonies instead of your pennies and nickels.

-Insider buyings from David to Ernestos. Confidence in the company.

-RE is out, we are one step close to the bankable feasibility study. To force Teck to make a move on this mine.

-When it jumped to $2.75, I was like fuck I missed the boat. I hope it drops for me to buy back in. IMO, this is a great time for me to buy into it.

Can somebody explained how they keep saying the RE is based on 1% of Shaft Creek? The billion pounds of copper is in this 1% of the property or is it in the whole property and 1% is used to estimate the entire property?

blkgsr 07-13-2011 07:26 PM

i can't say. but it's coming from a major firm

the "1%" if of the property as far as i know....ie there's a fuck load more to go

gdoh 07-14-2011 07:00 AM

you guys should take a look into VVI i heard that they are looking at a very promising property atm, and GDX is looking good. also NVT seems to be very close to hitting it big

he bought ~220k more shares today. As an insider, he must know what is coming up or he just wants to fix the SP from the MM. Either way, it shows confidence.

gdoh 07-14-2011 09:55 AM

good volume, good trench samples, good people, not a lot of stock out, atm its low because there is a lot of paper coming out at a nickle

Yeah, it seems like the RE is based on the 1500 acres of explored area.

But Ernesto buying today shows confidence in the company though.

Almost a mil in two days.

DOHCVTEC 07-14-2011 11:59 AM

How many here are still holding onto CUU shares?

DOHCVTEC 07-14-2011 12:01 PM

I would like to retract my statement about QE3. It looks like it's not going to come anytime soon, though you have to wonder what the Feds will do from now until Nov 2012, when there will be a small event known as a presidential election.

blkgsr 07-14-2011 12:52 PM

cuu dumps at close again?

highfive 07-14-2011 01:44 PM

I'm still holding and I increased my position this week.

Yeah, seems like it. Any updates on the deep drills the stock will pop back above $2.
