if short term yields are higher than long term yields (2yr vs 10yr) in bond/treasury mkts. it is predicting a recession/contraction

someone may correct me if im wrong but it works to that effect

think about it. why would long term debt pay less interest than short term debt?

anyways just google it. in this mkt. the forex and bond mkt will tell u what to do

I don't know about a sure bet. Before the statement I actually kind of expected the market would go up just to screw with the bears a little bit. But hey that is why I love the market because just when you thought you got it all figured out it makes you look like a complete idiot.

hahah. i been tracking that too. i bought calls on goog morning thinking for a run up into the fed at 11:15 and a quick pop of the indexes to +120 so i can sell. shit didnt happen so picked on gs puts to cut losses. i still loss for the day but i'll takr it

Man wish I'd gotten some Oct 115 calls for GR, there was chatter/rumor on Friday, share price spiked to 114.50. They're getting bought out for 127.50

The CDN dollar drop actually benefits me as I'm holding a few US stocks

i did the same thing
u lose money on every trade cuz they convert using their rates
u losing 5-8 % everytime u cash out
