WTF, I go on holidays and wake up to this mess >_< F u Greece! :fuuuuu:

I did add some POT shares, as I'm still long POT even though scotiabank downgraded it to sector perform. Otherwise, I'm holding cash and waiting for the other shoe to drop...my wife is yelling at me for browsing stocks and revscene while on holidays :lol

IMO I don't think he has enough majority to pass it. Only 3 people in his party need to vote against it and it's dead.

But who knows....

lime56 11-01-2011 12:07 PM

eh. when in doubt look at fundamentals

right now shit dont look good

Tomorrow will be a fun day.

Make that hours, the next couple of hours will be fun.

If there is a referendum, most Greeks will likely vote 'no'. Knowing this, then, most Greeks will pull all their Euros out and there will thus be a run on banks. And then it begins...perhaps we'll see another Lehman moment tomorrow. Perhaps.

lime56 11-01-2011 12:31 PM

i hope everything crashes. i cant afford property right now. lol

and easier to short stocks as a trader. at least for now

lime56 11-01-2011 01:22 PM

doesnt matter
its really a matter of getting money outta the region

greece take bailout it will be orderly
the mere mention of a vote is just is making a lehman moment or not

Picked up some SU (Suncor) @ 30.28 based on fundamentals. Commodities are risky right now but they will come back.

lime56 11-01-2011 01:53 PM

TouringTeg 11-02-2011 07:21 AM

Crazy... RIM just keeps falling

no_clue 11-02-2011 07:39 AM

All in RIM... bold move
One hand they're going under, other hand they'll spike due to a buyout
too much for me lol

SiRV 11-02-2011 07:41 AM

ttossed in a few hundred into it to see if it can help offset my faz later w/ buyout lol.. losses today

I put a stop on FAZ for 40.00, I wanted to sell earlier for 42, but I don't think my brokerage allows that? (CIBC) :nyan:

no_clue 11-02-2011 07:50 AM

I sold my encana for a small profit to even out my loss in Toyota. Im 90% cash now
I believe bad things are coming soon... like why is the market up on no news?

Hehe 11-02-2011 07:56 AM

As far as RIM goes, I am thinking of buying some put contracts. I expect it to go to single digits within a year time.
