Most of my stocks are long-term dividend paying stocks. But my POT holdings is down $3000 already. I was long POT, but news seems to keep going from bad to worse? Just not long ago, most analysts were upgrading their price targets too...I'm hoping it eventually recovers Farmers in holding pattern on fertilizer prices - The Globe and Mail |

Merger arbitrage for the day - CVE:CSC.
I put in a limit order at .125 for a 2:1 risk return. Figure the floor is the 52 week low. Target price .20. Will know results by dec 31st (when santa fe gold has to announce financing).

facebook is not worth a hundred fucking billion dollars.
just like none of these tech companies going public are worth whatever people think they're worth.
no fuckin way. they're all way over valued.
might as well say it's worth a trillion |

The big joke around the office the last couple weeks was my theory on a "zero diversity" portfolio... then CLL jumped hahaha. (My "zero diversity portfolio" is being purely invested in companys whos core assets is oil sands related.)
Lots of good laughs were had... mostly me laughing at everyone that didnt buy lol
If CLL is bought out, the instant the news release comes and the price jumps up, I will sell and dump half that money into PXX.. thats the plan for now anyway.

The office I work in is full of novice investors, and we typically have too much time on our hands during trading hours... so much of the conversation falls to investing.
I am just glorified rig pig...

Kicking myself pretty hard these days that I didn't buy in when it was around 0.35. Watched it tick all the way down from 1.10 and didn't know where it would hold.

Some funds would have to sell BAC if they end up falling under $5. Buy BAC now if you think they've bottomed.
