Are you considering FAZ in March should Greece go through a chaotic default?

xpl0sive 01-20-2012 09:17 AM

CUU still climbing... and Ernesto just committed to another $2.2 mil investment, that's pretty much the only thing that still keeps me hoping CUU will go back up to $2 level. Ernesto keeps dumping loads of money into it, must be for a reason?

bbbj 01-20-2012 10:26 AM

GOOG dropped 9% in after market yesterday and still down around 8.5% right now.. good time to buy in??

he's already "made" shit tons of money and another $2M is nothing to him, i think he's doing this right now to help keep the SP up

I sure hope he know's something and the sp will get back up to $2.50 (or higher) with the BFS

I would probably hold back on the GOOG buy for a while because

- increasing costs from increase in employees hurting bottom line
- current challenges with integration with motorola
- android's decreased market share in 2011
-cost per click fell

Tough call though...

Down 6.5% right now... it will be interesting to see what they finish the day at.

RIM is stupid to not have a blackberry line that runs the Android OS.

If you are able to combine the Android OS with its BBM and network, a lot of ppl would be coming back to RIM.

... Lol RIMM having a bad day .. again.

On a side note, I am kicking the ever living fuck outta myself for not buying URRE, was sitting at around 0.80 all month and in about a week has climbed to where it is at now 1.13$.

Oh well.. can't win them all... if you look at URRE from a seasonal perspective, this time every year they start the climb up... also interesting to know the NAV is around 5.50$/share.. and they were trading as high as 12$/share back before te world fell apart in 08/09.

I still haven't read into URRE enough, if there hasn't been any significant dilution over the last few years this one should be a great buy. They stopped production a while back and sold off all of their reserves, they are now getting back into production soon... maybe this stock could see 12$/share again.. Really need to put some time aside and figure that one out.

CLL has seen the volume drop at a steady rate, seems a lot of people are holding their position, I just want the buyout to happen so I can move that money elsewhere! Common oil companies! Spend some of that profit and buy this poor little Canadian outfit!!!!

Had an interesting meeting with U308 this morning. Take a look into that story because it's a good one.

Will write more later.

Iceman-19 01-23-2012 11:52 AM

So do you guys think CLL is still a smart short term purchase?

Iceman-19 01-23-2012 12:14 PM

What about Bellamont Exploration? They are being bought out for 85 million in as cash and stocks deal. Currently at .45/share, hasn't moved yet.

IMO, yes it is a smart short term investment, if there is not a buyout for over 2$/share within the next 60 days I will strongly consider dumping 50% of my shares to invest those in other more risky and possibly rewarding investments.

We can all look back at this thread in a couple months and see if it was a good call or not lol

Iceman-19 01-23-2012 05:30 PM

Well you have been right about it so far. I think I'm gonna put 1000 into it and see how it goes. When I sell I might put it into Canadian zinc or coalspur.

true that - wayyyy too inflated

shawnly1000 01-24-2012 03:14 PM

LOL, remember when they reported bad earnings last quarter? The bears came out in droves, yet going into today's earnings release, the share price was near all-time high...
