i'm not sure why you're all selling CUU, why did you buy in the first place? it sounds like a lot of you expect a short term jump and if that doesn't happen, the story must be broken
The Prefeasibility study is what we're all waiting for, and based on recent new releases, things look good - this is a huge copper deposit, the BC government is gungho about developing it, all the stars seem to be aligning - lets just wait it out, get the PFS, and then wait for a big name to bank roll it.
the only way i would have recently sold is if i were to have bought in the $0.9x range for a quick trade, as there was no doubt it had the potential to quickly move above $1.0x

don't make impulse trades.
set parameters before you enter, and follow those rules till the end.
remember, you're not trading.
you're trading your rules. let the rules trade.
if you break the rules, you're going to lose money... that is unless your rules suck. lol.

Would be nice if CLL would just get taken out already... just a matter of time, I am now only holding 50k shares of CLL as I wanted to move some money around and diversify juuuuussst in the event the shareholders get "Goldman'd". It was the responsible thing to do, take some profit and diversify.
YNG, ROG, and PX are my favorite "risky" precious metals plays, holding 75K shares of YNG at .32 avg share price... let's hope it stays bullish... I'm expecting an easy double.. but thats just my opinion!
GLTA!!!! F U GREECE!

what's everyone's thoughts on solar tech?
look at OPL.
it's way down from when i had it last year at .7 and .97 (rode it up to 1.8 and never sold )
sold back at even and now it's down to .23 might be a good long term hold?

GLTA!!!! F U GREECE! | Yep I took profits on CLL when it first started going up.. then bought back in again. 50k is a lot less position then you had before. I'm just sitting on 5000 shares.
YNG up 17.8% at the moment. Will check out your other gambles. Gotta love penny stocks.

Yes I cut my position in CLL down by 50%, I am still considering buying back in during a bullish run up in price, that stock IMO is the #1 take out target of the oil sands, and will be bought for no less than 2$/share. I just believe that with GS involved and the recent management shift, the take out will be delayed to after the quarterly results.. but at the same time, I am still holding 50k shares just incase the offer comes through at an unexpected time.
Really, I just wanted to free up some funds and move them around as I saw opportunity elsewhere, ... as much as I would love to transfer another 50k over to my trading account for these other plays... You need to draw the line somewhere and keep your trading account (especially trading equities) within a certain percentage of your net worth or esle you could get severely burnt.
YNG having quite the run, aside from the dillution, which really only affected the longs, for people getting in now... I feel it's a pretty good buy.

I'd like to find some more blogs or sites that give in depth analysis like that. Or anyone else follow any sites similar?? Posted via RS Mobile |

Sorry man but there isn't really many specific blogs I follow... read the BS boards on Agoracon or Stockhouse and try to find companies that stand out, check out the fundementals, then google as much as you can.. and read all news releases and financials...
Long ago I started investing after reading Garth Turners blog, Book and Weblog – Authored by Garth Turner — Greater Fool – Authored by Garth Turner – The Troubled Future of Real Estate , it's about real estate in Canada for the most part, but really opened my eyes to investments... and I tend to agree with his views on housing.
There is a guy on stockhouse who I tend to follow for precious metals named "primed24" he has a blog site, his english isn't perfect but he does his DD.... and does yours for you in the process lol. About The Report « The Primed Report

PFS will show fmv of $xxx but that's not a good use for valuation as they use extremely conservative numbers, i'd put the value well over $1B, based on what I know about similar mines in the region and the numbers coming from theirs
so personally, i'm seeing a valuation of $3+ for it as a base level, woudln't be surprised of a $4+ valuation, but time will tell
definitely a great deposit which the government is strongly interested in having developed (jobs + investment + tax income for them) and are doing a lot to faciliatate it
these are merely my opinions, which are worthless to anyone but me - but i invest for long term and buy based on underlying fundamentals
