Apple News:

Quote:
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Apple Inc. said on Monday that it will initiate a quarterly dividend of $2.65 a share sometime in the fourth quarter of this year. The firm also said it will set a $10 billion share buyback that will begin on September 30. "We have used some of our cash to make great investments in our business through increased research and development, acquisitions, new retail store openings, strategic prepayments and capital expenditures in our supply chain, and building out our infrastructure. You'll see more of all of these in the future," said Tim Cook, Apple's CEO. "Even with these investments, we can maintain a war chest for strategic opportunities and have plenty of cash to run our business. So we are going to initiate a dividend and share repurchase program."
Based on todays share price, thats a 1.8% dividend yield that doesn't start paying until the 4th quarter, additionally with the share buybacks that should drive the true yield % down... not sure how the market will react to this.

Any upcoming plays for you ?
I've been playing straddles with tech plays before their earnings and its been working well for me so far. I also like the financials. I have some April GS calls going into their Q1 earnings.

For anyone still holding it, CUU is halted. (@ $0.99)

... After taking a 20% nosedive this morning. Sounds like some bad info might have slipped out and IIROC took notice of the substantial drop and shut them down.

EDIT: My Scotia Mcleod is either screwed up or something is up with CLL, no volume for like 20 minutes and the leve 2 is all zeros.. god I hope the fucking company is sold already lol.

EDIT: NVM, just my trading account going all "blackberry" on me.

From what I remembered from the news release.

An updated resource estimate that's going to include 2011 drilling that should push the grades higher. Plus trying to get the silver in there as well.

FS is delayed because of the lack of manpower Tetra Tech has to complete the most significant part of the mining plan. They say they are 6-8 weeks behind.

Expects FS to be in mid summer 2012 to be safe I assume?

Added Jim Gray to assist with the mining plan. I noticed that this guy has done with with Teck before. You can say it's one step closer to what Teck wants I suppose?

Ouch for cuu..

is mining in northern BC difficult?
The company I worked for tried to truck something to Alaska, but we found that the best way was to deliver to Seattle then boat it to Alaska.
In the summer, it's easier to go through Alberta.
Is northern BC that inaccessible?

A company with a very large advertising budget lol It's a trading platform, and they have commercials on BNN every 3 minutes... they did cheap out on the actors though by hiring some little pre-pubescent ginger from Ontario as the star.

If a market cap of a stock is say, 2 million, a fair value stock price should be around .20 a share correct? Or am I way off base?
