I got back in for 100k shares at .33 so I'm basically responsible for 1/3 of the shares traded so far today.

In @ Air Canada today for a quick play.
I think the aveos closure is affecting the stock for no reason.

I have been holding this company longer than Jason talked about. Got in a long time ago at like $1.34, then doubled my position in it buying on its way down. Average share price now $.90. I'm starting to think these guys are a bunch of shiets for cant making a profit, and they are priced correctly for the shiet company that it is. but only reason im holding on is i think oil prices will stay above $100 and hopefully a take out will be done soon, which I can see happening with all the assets and reserves they have. They are just not good at producing cost effectively it seems like.

I usually am fortunate and get like a couple take-over bids a year. The last company I held for the longest time and it finally paid off. Hoping this is the same situation and I just got to stay patient.

I was stoked to buy NZ at $3.00 this morning... now down to $2.92, oops. Either way, a phenomenal buying opportunity, we should have news of another well in a few weeks and I expect it will knock on $4.00 at that point!

Your choice. Lots of money is being made trading the stock but as a long term hold it is a good oil play imo. It is still a very junior company so it has a lot of room to grow but has all the fundamentals in place - some production, lots of potential, enough money to grow, etc.

^ Dude, sorry to be rude....but I been following your comments for the past few months. It's great to get advices and learning tips from members of this forum. But have you actually done anyy research into the company yourself prior to purchases??

From the looks of it, 99% of your purchases are impulse buys just cause you heard something, from someone....

Isn't that the best way to invest? Sort of like taking advice from BNN guests who are just trying to hype their own shit lol.

On a totally unrelated sidenote.. bought 5200 shares of NZ at 3.03 today.

Yup, they are. Learning as I go. I'm not using your money, am I? Feel free to doll out some advice. So far I haven't lost anything so I am happy with all the advice I've had from the forums. As well, yes, I have done a bit of research that I could do. I'm not totally blind, but I don't mind a risk.

I would expect a good return with very little risk on SNC.

The current risk is the investigation that is still underway. If they go under the bus, I'm sure investors will not be pleased with the results.

Ahhh don't worry about that, pretty ignorant for shareholders/investors to throw a company under the bus over greasing the wheels with some foreign nationals lol.

Like I said, sure they are under the spotlight right now, not the first company in this sector to wind up in this position, regardless of the outcome it will only be a matter of time before this is forgotten.

What about the 35million in unexplained payments? EDIT: i think i may have posted the same article...
SNC-Lavalin lawsuit: $250-million class-action suit arises as questions grow over firm | Legal Post | Financial Post

I'm not arguing with you, I believe that SNC will jump once their projects take off, but there is still a risk associated from all the bad press they've been getting.

Time will heal all wounds, and I'm sure their stock will move in the opposite direction soon enough.
