Made a nice return on v.LMR today, now it's time to put some money in a real graphite company.

I wonder who would buy RIM.

Apple is Apple.

Google has Motorola

Microsoft is partnered with Nokia

That kinda leaves with HTC, Dell, Samsung, Amazon?

There have been bids for RIMM in not to distant past.

Microsoft, Nokia Flirted With RIM - WSJ.com

most strange was Amazon mulling a bid http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/...7BJ26S20111220

Yeah, the flirted but it's hard to see microsoft doing anything since they are trying to push their "windows 8".

I think Samung would be the biggest one.

They have everything the need, but imagine they get the security of BB..

Apparently not April 2... Yukon-Nevada's Q4 2011 Results Published

Highlights:

Financials:

Pretty much what I had expected... solid improvement but not out of the woods yet.

Have lots of NZ, avg cost is around $3.10. I'm holding onto mine, no reason to take a loss IMO, the company has new well results coming April 2012 and there are huge residual effects possible if TAG hits oil on the East Coast which will spud April 2012 as well. If I had more cash available, I would probably start looking for a point to buy some more, but I might like the company more than most.

I'm just terrified, i've never been down this much before. Well i got 5000 shares at 3.06 but i'm new to this and i'm not used to the ups and downs. I'm definitely too scared to average down though.

Oh well, hopefully it goes up a bit next week, I don't know how much longer i can hold if its gradually going down every day.

Fair enough though you need to remember that junior O&G companies are not exactly stable by definition... if they aren't in your risk tolerance then maybe the money should be in something a bit more stable?
