GPRN wasn't really a good stock to buy. I subscribe to their deals through email. And it's be shittier and shittier every day since they went public.

I notice Living Social has better deals than they do.

A junior energy company I'm looking at is Forent Energy. Realized that Brett Wilson (former Dragon's Den guy) who made his money in oil and gas has 20% stake in this company. It's not worth a whole lot right now, but they are planning to drill in the reefs in Nova Scotia hoping to find petroleum.

Just out of curiosity whos still holding cll? Lol

lowside67 04-02-2012 11:23 AM

Me. Should have set a much tighter stop-loss when I bought it, FML.

TouringTeg 04-02-2012 01:23 PM

Sold CLL last week. Got tired of waiting for a buy out.

Iceman-19 04-02-2012 02:37 PM

Same. Kicking myself for not buying SOV when I thought about it, up almost 40% today.

lowside67 04-02-2012 09:25 PM

Interesting news about CLL... 10% ownership stake bought
K2 PRINCIPAL FUND L.P. | The K2 Principal Fund L.P. acquires common shares of Connacher Oil and Gas Limited

Also, what a day for TAG and NZ... if only I still had cash to average down today... they both made huge gains on good news from TAG. NZ should have well reports on CM-3 soon and if they hit oil it's going to be a good payday!!

Why the "lol"?

How about "who is still holding CUU" or "who is still holding Sino Forest".

CLL still hanging in there at .94, take a look at the other Canadian Oilsands producers and see what their charts look like over the last 2 months. It's tough times again for Bitumen sales.

I still hold CUU and CLL. CUU i picked up for under $1. so im not too concerned, Connacher is actually holding up pretty decently considering whats happening to the other oilsand producers.

There is no hidden meaning in the 'lol', I am still holding almost 10000 shares of CLL myself. You need to chill out jasonturbo.

Those holding CLL still are doing alright today considering all the red. Up 3.19%

I averaged down on YNG and bought 6700 shares @ .32

And not red enough to buy. lol

I'm actually hoping CUU pays out soon. I want to dump some of the money to CLL.

Finally got my money back on my Rimm puts I placed before earnings. :fuckyea:

My AAPL calls went down a bit (bought 605 May 2012 Calls @ 603 Monday morning.) I'm still in the money, but I will play the earnings this month (April 24).

From purely a TA standpoint. Good move. Stochastic are down. MACD's are turning positive. May give you 10% back by June if the market stays at least sideways.

But you're probably gonna play the earnings on this http://imgur.com/tCp90.gif

TouringTeg 04-05-2012 07:20 AM

It's amazing that AA was trading at around $42 in 2008 and is just $9.85 now. Jason you love your commodities :D
