^the sell off volume is not extremely high compared to the mad buying the past 3 days.. I bought some at 60 too XD edit: and 1 min after i buy, 59.90 breaks thru ... awesome |
So whats your plans for the V stock? make a quick buck? holding for months? years? I'm betting it will rally tomorrow |

IMO, I think all the people who bought in super early last week are selling off some of their shares (banks mostly). For me this is a super long hold.. If I double up in a year or a couple months, i'll sell half and leave the rest to accumulate for another couple years |
It's a daytraders market. I'm in and out of most of my stocks throughout the day. V, MF, NCC, POT. Made some quick cash when BSC delayed opened and it flew to 13ish within a hour lol. I bought V at the close again, hopefully it'll rally. |
So the big question now is, what does JPMorgen have planed for Bear? I'm going to keep a good close eye on them and do some research, 10 bucks for this stock is still a steal and the company has been around for ages! |
putting some cash to work here buying short etf's SKF and HFD.TO and FXP basically shorting financials and china |

options have a bigger risk than owning shares. |
http://biz.yahoo.com/opt/education.html All you need to know about Options.. it's called "Options 101" for newbie.. hhahahhaha! Don't do it if you don't even have a clue on what's "CALL" and "PUT" options are. |
Got out of CPA.X at 2.15, very happy right now. Anyone has potential stocks on their watchlists that they want to share? |

for delayed quotes put in a symbol and get a quote. on the leftside there is a column with summary, options, historical prices etc click on options it will bring up an options chain with all the expiries and strikes and stuff open interest, volume but it wont give u any greeks, no delta gamma rho or theta or i-vol |

a friend suggested stockcharts.com but i haven't looked into it too much yet. |
^ stockcharts is very popular, I was thinking about using this platform.. have you checked out their website? |

LLEG still chugging a long.. we are waiting on a PR from them to get approval of 100m financing.. the PR is on the horizon as fridays trading definately signalled something out of the ordinary (up 25%). |
my platform is free from my broker (tradefreedom) they got bought out by scotiabank over the summer,$10 commision flat no minimum balance. its not the most advanced platform but is the best for it's price. if you are advanced you can open your broker account with tradestation or interactivebroker which have very advanced platforms with ability to program trade, write buy and sell scripts. these usually cost more for the bells and whistle tho through monthly subscription fees stockcharts.com doesnt have a platform and is a subscription based service for real time charts. but you have to refresh teh page to get real time quotes or can set the explorer to auto refresh page i just use my broker platform and free stuff from stockcharts.com all the free stuff they offer at stockcharts.com is already above and beyond Quote:

just to keep everyone updated treasury secratary paulson let investors know that the days of investment banks and hedge funds using 30:1 leverage is over until some time next year and until then you can keep leveraging. also the fed will provide treasury bills for junk type bonds still labed AAA. paulson announced this on a FRIDAY after the close...(trying to screw some shorts i guess i dunno) , so banks dont have it so hard after all. financials/ stocks going up and commodities going down is the trade the market is telling us to maneuver into. gold contracts are rolling over into the next month. i'd like to see gold in the $900 to $800 range. probably a blessing to those that havent caught onto the goldbug wagon. |

I don't know about that paulson's plan... I think there might be selloff right after Friday tho. |
