NZ is up 15%... mind you I'm still under water but it's a move in the right direction. There is some talk about news on the next 2 wells coming out on May 30. Edit - make that 6% lol... fickle bitch! Mark |

So... I'm not very happy about this.. I am stuck holding TVIX over the (long?) weekend.. I went to a meeting an hour before market close when TVIX was finally climbing.. well the building we had the meeting in didn't get any cell reception lol FML I planned to sell it using my phone... guess not hahaha. So hopefully it works out.. but I am nervous of what next week might bring :( |

Things turned really positive in the last hour. USG up 8%. US housing starts are up. YNG up slightly but it's great to be back at .30 Watching CLL as well at .57 FB down nearly 10% and TVIX down as well. |

I thought about dumping around 8.40 today.. but I didn't. Hopefully Europe lights itself on fire soon... I knew as soon as I got stuck holding this over the weekend I was fucked lol. |

I mean, most of the focus is on the US presidential race right now, but what happens after that? Their throwing all this debt under the rug but their going to have to address it sooner or later, and once they do, I think were going to see fireworks as stocks plummet Thats why the only thing i'm holding is gold right now, i'm totally down for investing when theres chaos like during 2008, but I don't think we're really seeing anything close to the bottom yet |
U.S. is the best house in a bad neighbourhood. Housing has bottomed and consumers are alive and well. As an investor, just keep ample cash on hand and don't go all in. When you get pullback like we did recently, you go in and buy. Bought XHB, XRT, APPL, and some GM recently. And will continue to do so if we get more dips. Europe is just noise at this point. |

I'm actually pretty confident RIMM can come back and build a niche business. And I'm confident in Prem Wasta...he's betting a 3-5 year recovery for RIMM. Quote:

As you said, it may be the best house in a bad neighbourhood, but i feel like theres a ticking time bomb in that best house. Cause there is no simple solution thats going to fix the problem of trillions worth of debt I'm just worried that i'm going to get caught in a freefall buying into one of these pull backs, but what you said is true, don't go all in |
Dumped my TVIX @ 8.61 (-2035$) this morning, looking to play it a couple times today... Edit: Ouch CLL... @ $0.50 I might consider buying back in around $0.25. Rough last couple weeks on the market. |

guys, start to take a look at BAJA MINING. the ceo and his nepotism has been jettisoned. great resource and a very depressed share price. |
if you love Prim W of Fairfax fame and feel the same way about RIM, I suggest you buy Fairfax and hold RIM through your Fairfax holding. There's no need to buy RIM when you can hold Fairfax which owns RIM shares so you cover off the downside. |
