Well this is quite a lovely morning... for people that shorted the right stocks lol.

CLL @ .41 (Don't say I didn't warn you back at .99!!), again I hate to say this and I know it's tracking the price of oil, but I see that poor stock heading lower.. and lower.

NZ @ 1.60, down 8.05% today, not pretty considering the market cap has dropped 50% in just a couple months. I will say that I believe NZ is nothing more than a victim of market sentiment.

THe VIX index is up to 21.1, a 3.0 jump today, or roughly 16.5%. So where is my 33% jump in TVIX (Up 12% to 6.19)??? lol Really hoping things get worse before they get better so I can actually cash out on my TVIX...

Anyway, Europe is fucked, Merkel and her square headed partners will not assume any more risk to the people of Germany, you can only imagine what public opinion in Germany would be on the subject of debt sharing in the Eurozone, for Merkel and the rest of the people running the show they need to to what's best for their country and their careers, and it's not to expose Germany to significant amounts of debt.

America... well coming into the election, unless Obama has something up his sleeve I can't see this election run bringing a lot of life into the markets.. and the Fed was quite clear in saying that they would not begin any more easing unless they had reason to believe it would be effective... and they seemed rather doubtful.

So... I'm still bearish for the short term.. most likely intermediate term, I see gold getting stronger as the US election starts heating up.

Either way... good luck folks, I hope some of you are making money!

Tried the new Questrade IQ today. Didn't work out so well lol.
Was in for a quick in & out and went from $30 profit to $18 loss within 20 minutes.
Couldn't figure out how to work the platform, and it didn't let me execute my sell.. wtf lol

Needless to say, I shouldn't have jumped right into it without familiarizing myself with the platform more

Rookie mistake, pretty pissed at myself for it

Hmm haven't tried it yet. Still using questrader web. Simple layout but it works.

YNG was down 9% and bounced back big in the last hour ending at 0% change. Come on gold, the Euro's troubles are not over.

FWIW something may be brewing/soon to be bullish for RIMM; Earnings after-market, may be a surprise/news expected

Market cap of $4 billion now. But they have cash of $2.2 billion.

RIMM really fucked themselves by delaying 10. They have zero positive news from this NR.

I do believe that RIMM can still come back, they just need the right leadership.

All you need to know is this, keep your money out of equities for at least the next six months lol that will give you lots of time to find study material and will prevent you from suffering the same fate many of us have hahaha.
