3.Cut losses early , especially if catalyst is far out
4.Patience
5.No mental fantasies
6.Macro market IS important

don't chase a stock up if you missed the move

a catalyst is some event that moves the stock, eg. earnings, buy out, announcements, politics, etc..

I really want to learn trading the weeklies on S&P... the returns are insane but you need wizard like intuition on the markets. And my rules are centered around biotechs only, I only trade those because I know them in & out... A catalyst is like a major event for a company i.e. PDUFA decision, clinical data, etc... btw ulic I read most of the shit u sent me but I'm still to pussy to try trading futures lol

Should be any (for sure Questrade and Optionsxpress) it's just a matter of whether the underlying stock has weekly options offered.

haha can't you trade stock index without the leverage?

your rules seem very universal. a chart is a chart to me, i trade almost all futures off the same rules, fundamentals always follow technical!

Hey dude sorry for late response. AMRN's PR firm had put up a website url for AMR101 (trademark Vascepa) saying it had been approved and showed a 'draft' label which looked really good. They took the site down almost immediately after people found the URL. And as always if ur in this stock, sell on the pop or get burned

Depends if you'r going to play with leverage or just ur base. If your starting off trading options, you can get by with 2k and make some serious returns. Securities? 5k min. Margin/leverage , depending on buying power, 3kish.... keep in mind the less capital you have the more risk you have to take if that makes any sense.. lol
