Turns out that some people have been a little misled with the FDA's most recent OB update...

"The orange book for Rx and generic equivalent drug APPROVALS has been updated for October.

The orange book supplement for exclusivity has NOT been updated as of yet, it is only current as of September."

The OB supplement update is expected before Wednesday this week. I get to re-live the stress of last week all over again :) hahaha.

Are you still on the sidelines for this trade? Think it'll test the 200 MA?

I'm still at work. When I get home, I'll review my charts and whatever news there was about today.

It seems like the market is trading as if there was no fiscal cliff. The weird thing is, it's before US Thanksgiving - it makes me scratch my head why the market is going up like this before the Holiday weekend. Usually, it's after the weekend.

Hmmm... Technicals look good, today was a confirmation pattern on a technical reversal. Without looking at anymore facts, I would jump on this in my virtual account. As for real money, I am seriously not sure. I got 15k to just pounce on some AAPL call options leading to January. My game plan was to buy sometime next week. Now, I'm not sure.

I'm in shanghai now so I'm not really watching markets. But this is a pretty solid signal. Mind u I never hold "long" term. Only minutes to perhaps 2.5 weeks is the longest I've held a position. So my style of trading is a lot faster pace. Where most of you would enter I might already be out.

Damn, at work right now.. stopped out at 560.. only 100$ profit after transaction fees

will068 11-20-2012 10:46 AM

I watched part of Ben Bernanke's talk earlier. It sounds like he's not doing anything.

highfive 11-20-2012 03:19 PM

Bob Iger apparently bought $900k worth of Apple stock yesterday at market prices.

strykn 11-20-2012 07:38 PM

All US is going to do now is just rinse and repeat.

All the shit you hear them talking is just noise.

Yikes, NZ - New Zealand Energy just taking a beating lately.

I only have a few K tied up in NZ, and don't mind holding, but dang is that ever one ugly ass chart. Down 1$/share in 3 months, from 2.33 to 1.33.

highfive 11-21-2012 11:05 AM

Anyone looking at RIMM?

It's back over $10!! lol

strykn 11-21-2012 05:22 PM

I am not playing it but Jason, I believe you are going to get your buyout. If it happens send me a bottle for mentioning it here ;)

I will send you a bottle either way,

Don P in the event of a buyout.

Gatorade bottle full of my tears if not.

Edit: Point of interest, it was this week last yeat that the CLL pop happened. If for some reason shit goes down before the end of the month, I will go to the hospital and check to see if there is in fact - a horseshoe up my ass.

I got in alright, in my virtual account. LOLz.

I was waiting for a breakthrough in the Fibonacci Retracement from the $700 level (I believe it was at the 66.X+ percentile that I was waiting for a breakthrough).

I'm looking at RIMM personally.

Recent rally for +70% in the last few months.
BB10 launching in Jan 2013 (make or break and analysts peg it at 20-30% success rate)
However lots of insiders and developers have their hands on BB10 and absolutely loving it

Some analysts peg the stock as low as $5 while other ones peg from $15-$17 as high as $40.

As always do you own diligence.

RIMM will be a rollercoaster ride just not sure where it's heading! Either way it would be great if we can see a comeback from BB as it is our one and only canadian tech company
