Anyone still holding CUU? They are halted today and released the long waited BFS.

What do you guys think of its prospect now? The BFS revealed that it is positive and have an IRR at 10.13% with a payback period in 6.5 years and CAPEX at $3.256 billion.

NPV of $516 million is kinda low. considering everything and CUU overall, kinda values the company around $1.30-140 /share.

noooooooo, NPV is based on 8% discount rate and a low, LOW copper price

keep reading, using 3 year running average and spot, NPV of over $1B

add to that everything outside of the FS, would never sell for below $3, 4, etc.

please don't EVER value a company based on poor numbers that are used as a guide only

need to look at what teck or another major is willing to pay

the VERY conservative FS for only certain mineral properties within copper fox's grasp shows certain value - plenty more value in CUU than that

in the end of the day, it's all down to what's going on behind closed doors between CUU and Teck

if the stock tanks, i think it's a good buying opportunity - but that's just me

this mine will be built, no question, that whole area will be, just a matter of when, and by who

They still haven't lifted the halt. And CUU claimed they haven't offically delivered the BFS to Teck. Don't even know if there would be trading on Monday. But if there is, I would lean toward a sell-off. Unless Teck decides to back-in before trading start.

I don't think the buy-out would be in the range of 3-4. More like 3 or less

well, i gotta be honest, your opinion is just that (and you're entitled to it)

we never TRULY know whats going on behind closed doors

i doubt they'd sell to Teck or anyone for an amount less than $3 - but that's just my opinion

with the way the chinese are buying up canada - we can't forget that factor, the chinese love to put money into Canada, VERY safe place to invest in resources

I'm not the one who decides what to do with it my grandparents invested it for me as a birthday present a few years ago to help me learn about stocks and stuff, and over those few years did well now that I am interested in these kind of things I pay more attention to them. they wanted me to hold on to it they've done fairly well with stocks so I took their advice

If I had full control over it I likely would have

w/e, my opinion is that there are world class copper deposits up there - CUU holds the best ones, the government here want to build it - it will happen

i don't trade, only long term invest, i still believe in this as a exploration investment

I feel the same way and I have my own personal interest and investment in CUU as well.

I've been holding for too long and will continue to hold on to it and let it play out.

Only thing is that it's not looking good for Monday.

I hold a position in CUU for a long time now, avg cost around $1.25~ a share. Only thing keeping me in it right now is mostly emotional, as in, the moment i sell, the stock will be bought out.

I was in the same situation with Nexen where I held it for a year and it finally paid out.

CUU is also next to the Galore project and I've been told teck is buying land between the two projects and in that area.

monday could be a day for those of us "emotional" people that already own to buy more at could be really low prices..

i'd certainly prefer the price doesn't drop like a lead weight

Hold on to rim stock, the change up in revenue plans is being blown out of proportion. Itll correct itself b4 launch. The shorts are just making alotta noise and trying to bring down the stock price because they know they are gunna get raped and have to cover upon release of bb10.

I'm not looking to sell my shares in Cuu to another peon, I'll be selling to a company that will be buying them out

To me, Monday is a buying day (well, I'll wait until I put $$550 more into tfsa on jan 1)

I have a question for all the options guys.

Is it possible to find a broker that doesn't require you to pay for the shares up front as if you were planning on exercising your options? Or a broker that will give you margin against non in the money options?

Thanks for the info.

lol please get off message boards and learn how the market works. most product launches are shorted heavily and will be shorted heavily until product PROVEN successful. Shorts will be in RIMM for a longggg time.
