I'm up 3.1% on my TFSA since June, so I'm pretty happy with that.

I may pull some money out of my regular savings to put into some stocks that are currently low, but not really looking to bet a lot. Maybe a few thousand.

pastarocket 08-24-2015 08:04 PM

My moves recently included selling shares of Fortinet (FTNT) before the big selloff in the markets for the past few days. A 25% return over a three month period. :fuckyea:

Looking to get into MCRB and REGN.
MCRB's pipeline drug looks pretty interesting

Guy I work with picked up some HVU at some point last week. Not sure exactly how much but he seemed pretty happy yesterday and today!

re: the fed rate updates (kinda but not really) is it just me or do they find the worst pictures of J Yellen or is she just the most unphotogenic person ever lol

RickyTan3 08-28-2015 12:31 PM

Made out with a solid 5-8% since this trade :alonehappy: pop the champagne, boysss (more like box wine lol)

probably super small fry returns for some of you but i'm pretty happy that i actually was able to set a plan with a clear target/stop loss and see it through.

slowly cashing out now and hoping this fed rate drama fucks shit up soon.

Haven't posted in here for ages.

Will be realizing a 1600% gain on a US private placement in the coming weeks, between the appreciation in the share price and low CAD I'll walk away with roughly 400K CAD.

Had to share it here because I sure as fuck ain't telling the girlfriend hahahaha.

I might actually be an adult and do something intelligent with the money.

Who knows, this might spell the end for the NSX and the ITR, will just consolidate and pick up a 997.1 GT3 RS and be done with it.

I'm intrigued. How does a noobie gain general knowledge about the stock market?

The less you know the better off you will be. Buy diversified index based ETF's and then wait.. the smarter you try to be by buying individual stocks the more money you will probably lose.

Mr.Money 12-21-2015 02:33 PM

medical industry stocks....any word of some cure,STOCK SKY ROCKETING...
