yea fuck.. i was actually thinking about it when they released that promo for pokemonGo like a year ago but didnt pull the trigger..

bought some shares this morning however, I dont know how much strength pokemonGo will continue to have, but that mini NES system makes me hopefully for a nice jump again in November

dat_steve 07-15-2016 10:28 AM

it'll be interesting to see how effective their pay-for-pokecoins system works. as it stands, the game seems easy enough without them though

Mr.Money 07-15-2016 11:12 AM

pokemon go + mcdonalds partnership in the near future since someone found they're logo inside the game file....date not confirmed but it tells you who's supporting them.

Nintendo shares plummet 18% after Pokemon Go reality check - Jul. 25, 2016

Hondaracer 07-25-2016 06:45 PM

Yea obviously it was all BS when you see that type of increase with an app that really does not require you to purchase in-game lol

Still banking on that mini NES

Mr.Money 07-25-2016 07:37 PM

same idea,Nintendo might pull an apple and slowly release the Mini Nes to create a Demand While TV & news rave about the "Must-have" item for the holiday season,People went stupid insane for the Nintendo Wii when it was limited Stock...

But Who knows,it's limited library of 30 games vs Wii 1000 games.

The marijuana industry has been on fire CGC graduated from the venture and onto the TSX. I have holdings in OGI and APH as well which have been doing well. Anybody have more insight into the industry and what other companies have potential?

a90a93 10-05-2016 09:07 AM

I have holdings in MJN. It went up 24% just today! I don't know why the Marijuana sector has taken off so fast lately. I'm a bit worried about another bubble burst.

DGN23 10-05-2016 05:15 PM

I'm long on the marijuana sector. It's inevitable to see ups and downs based on some good news and people taking profits but it's only going to go up over the long term. That is purely my opinion though.

Look at the money it brings in down in the states. The industry is different down there as far as legalities go but theres no denying the tax revenue they've pulled in in just a short time. And if there is anything governments like its tax. So Marijuana is certainly here to stay I think.

Sold last SPY long today. Net short now. For the sake of everyone, I hope it might not come to it and I get stopped but could get nastier.

Doubl3_H 10-12-2016 05:18 PM

Put in orders for ACB and APH

let see how it goes

Nlkko 10-18-2016 02:51 PM

TCK though. 10 bagger since beginner of year already.

Currently short NASDAQ and Spoo. Seems like it could blow up in my face.

Cashed out SPY Puts and QID position. All cash to election.

will068 11-09-2016 01:59 AM

Gentlemen, what are your strategies in the next 3 days up until the rest of the year?

- catch the falling sword (expecting a bounce back like Brexit aftermath) ?
- long on GLD ?
- LEAPS strategies on the US Indices ?
- Wait it out until earnings season starts in 2017 ?

Spoon 11-09-2016 08:02 AM

Bought some Pfizer even though prices shot up today. It's been beaten down for most the year, and comes with a 3+ percent yield. Should be pretty safe. =)

Lost 2 for 2 trades today so i'm here posting lmao :okay:

Not sure what market as a whole would do. Will share more later if I have time but for now I would not stay long in tech (AAPL, FANG for example) and solar (TSLA, SCTY) as Trump has promised to hit these companies hard on labor regulations and subsidizes.

Old industrial sector ($X, $CAT, $DE) are doing well as people are positioning for Trump to help them via increasing infrastructure spending and bringing back jobs in the US.

Keep in mind the big unknown here is will he execute on all his promises. His policy or the lack thereof means things could change on a whim. For example, one minute he favored low rate, the next he trashed Yellen for low rate. One really don't know. Market is currently in some sort of euphoria that the presidency unknown is over but it hasn't discount all the unknown following: we have rate decision in Dec (a Clinton win would have meant a hike but now, not so sure), we have Brexit in March and we have Trump's policy/statements hanging like a rusty gallow.

If you are looking at this euphoria rally, what's wrong with the picture? How far apart QQQ and IWM are? The monster volume in EEM.

TL;DR:
- Stay out of previous leaders (FANG) and solar (Trump).
- Stay out of any REIT related (rates).
- Stay high cash if possible. Market is trying to discount the future and it could be very very wrong.
- It is better to be out of a trade wishing to be in than to be in wishing you could get out.

SiRV 11-10-2016 02:30 PM

So... here are some points that we all need to learn from:

- leading up to the election, "The markets are rallying up for a Clinton presidency"
- a few days before the election with Clinton at 75-85% likelihood of becoming the POTUS, "markets are tanking for fear of risking a Trump presidency"
- Trump becomes president, "Markets soaring!"

What does this all mean? First person to answer gets a Sticker

Nlkko 11-10-2016 06:44 PM

To add to previous post, the Fed leash is no longer there. Bond market is crashing via heavy duty selling from foreigners. This means automatic rate hike with dollar strength shoot up. This is worrying as rates are no longer being controled by central banks. You can see $XLF leading hard already. Connect the dots.

Equities market is now a dangerous place to be. Down move if happen could be very fast. Already you can see heavy duty selling in FANG name. This is large funds/ CBs liquidating.

My current swing positions is currently short ES_F, Nasdaq and long UUP. All via options.

For long idea, any industrial, bank ($XLF, any bank except maybe $DB) and defense stocks ($XAR, $BA, $LMT, $GD) are good buy and hold on pullback.

it means all the pros bet on fear, and take profit when they're right. and all the stupid newbs bet on hope, and get slaughtered and take maximum loss cuz they ran out of margin.

then the pros will push the market back down, cuz it deserves to be down.

look at copper. lol. trumps gonna build lots of shit... but america doesnt actually use that much copper.. ok he's not gonna build so much shit.

Nlkko 11-14-2016 06:40 AM

Since Ulic quote the idiot... the only lesson here is managing risk. Pros or amateurs, both can lose at any given time. To win in this game you must not focus on winning, focus on not losing. Bet TA don't teach you that.

Try posting some real positions and trade ideas.

Closed my UUP long position today +80%. 3 short swing left: SPY and QQQ.
