I agree gold's jumped $42 to almost $800 so far... Asian market was up last evening... I was out and didn't see why :D

No hope rally today... Citi's thikning of merger...

i havent looked at this thread since early october when i got my ass handed to me knife catching, have been in a super depressed state ever since. this market is pretty much possessed and is still in the process of wiping out a whole generation of investors. hope everyone else is doing ok. been in and out of ultrashorts but not commiting alot, some of those etf's are broken from the volatility

50% capacity running only now.

My ass was handed to me as well, have been trying to catch up since

Until the financials improve, this is not going to get better.
There are no convincing buyers to bring the market up.
Hopefully someone buys out Citibank. They are going to become another penny stock soon.

wouwou 11-21-2008 09:06 AM

^ no one can afford C, its market cap it way too much for anyone to do so.

Well unless those terrorisors utilize the dark (gold) money we gave them for the past year and a half :D

Gt-R R34 11-21-2008 09:08 AM

*side note* AKA useless facts

Bill Gates and Warren Buffet can buy out all thee of CitiGroup/AIG/Morgan Stanley with their personal wealth right now alone. =)

They can turn it private lol.

Well once they start doing so, other investors will flock into the market, buying up Cs just to profit on it.

There are simply too many outstanding shares for anyone to do it silently.

Not to mention, BG and WB's wealth are heavily dependant on what their stocks are valued at.

Scoobysnax 11-21-2008 10:59 AM

Remember WB invested 10B into GS at 115. That investment doesnt look too good right now.. FUCK i sold SKF way too soon.. it is broke 300 today $@!@

wouwou 11-21-2008 11:40 AM

^aint you happy now?

:D

P.S, GG, I love you, now catch up to ABX you lazy c**t :D

taking it to literal. What i was referring to is how much the market cap of these companies are now worth. I wasn't meaning it was going to happen. I was just saying that with the market what it is. Thats how bad it is. Index average companies are worth less then a man's personal wealth.

:)

I know, I was in a crappy mode because GG was lagging behind ABX

WTF is with ABX, it is constantly making me sad. I hoop on it, it drops. I hoop on GG, it goes up twice as fast. I think it hates me.

edit:

My bad if I came out too serious, the reply was meant as a random post on Rev.

I have a quota of 50 posts per day and I am trying to fill it :D

Gt-R R34 11-21-2008 01:04 PM

I love how in one trading day can turn your stomach, and within the other half day look like nothing happened

wouwou 11-21-2008 02:09 PM

^That's why stock trading is better than SEX

and I mean it.

Butcha 11-21-2008 02:12 PM

Anyone else thinks this is the beginning of a gold rally?
It should be due for one right now.:)
I'm thinking about entering into some Jan. calls.

its bound to go back up right?? could this end up bankrupt like AIG or.. the lehman brothers?

just the dividend yield pct. is very tempting now....
next pay date is DEC.25

wouwou 11-24-2008 08:22 AM

Puff.

Finally back to the pre-failout level of profit.

I am gonna hold cash for the week now

Butcha 11-24-2008 11:12 AM

Awesome Bear Rally!
If it hits SPY 90-92 I'm definitely going short again.
Hopefully this is the beginning of another commodities rally. I still need to recover my losses from stupid DIG!

wouwou 11-24-2008 12:00 PM

^well if anything,

FXP is @ 60 right now, and all the underlying conditions are unchanged, so it should pop to $80.

I just got a few, the high of stock is too much for me to resist.

Butcha 11-24-2008 04:56 PM

Never look at the high of those 2x,3x etfs. They are setup so that the stocks follows the daily volatility of whatever index it is based on.
Overtime those etfs will make lower highs all the time.
Just look at fxi which should be trading way higher based on the current price of fxp. But it isn't lol. Although 60 is a pretty good price to get in.:)

cowcowcafe 11-24-2008 05:55 PM

made money on GM today...^^
actually all ppl that brought stocks last thur or fri should be smiling now...hope u sold it off fast though....times are rough ahead

Oh I am aware, I have a fxp top of $80 in my target range. that 200 is impossible
