the boner is still going.... FUCK!
faz just went straight down to hell in freaken 4 days. i hate the market.

it seem like the market got a dose of viagara and the cancer symptoms (i.e. umployment rates today) are not stopping the green showing up.

there was a point where it was a good time to buy faz but honestly the decay with faz is so bad, i dont see it go up much even if fas is down big time.

decay on FAS and FAZ is pretty scary. but big bullish or bearish swings can make you tons of $$$$$$$$$$$$

although it's unlikely that FAS and FAZ will ever go back to their highs.

crazy day traders. i favor growth investing myself, too much risk in day trading penny stocks and microcaps

I just switched my company RRSP with Standard Life from Equity to bonds

If I have time, I would get some FAZ too

a friend of mine just introduced HOU.to to me

CRUDE OIL BULL ETF x2!!!

what do you guys think? HOU.TO and HOD.TO
day trade stocks or keep for long term growth?

i plan to buy it in my TFSA and take advantage of 0 taxes. it's canadian too!

my plan is to buy now, and keep until end of August. It's likely that oil prices are going to double in the summer AGAIN

last year at this time, oil was $110. and jumped to $140 within 1.5-2 months.

HOU.TO is based on future contracts as most of the the oil etfs. So you will be subject to contango if you hold for a long preriod of time. If you want good exposure to oil for the long term, screw the etfs and buy the oil sands companies such as SU.TO or COS.UN.TO

ouch faz is very cheap now...bought into it at 14.30 ready for a little pullback before the market closes, most likely wont hold it over the weekend.

Definitely ballsy to hold any FAZ/FAS over the long weekend. Can really go either way. Especially with GS earnings on Tuesday, uptick rule changes on Wed, JPM earnings on Thursday. Even though the last hour was basically short running for the hills, I wouldn't put my money on having this rally go on the reversal..

normally i never hold these x3 ETFs over weekend or even overnight, but imo the rally at the end today was a bit overdone, it's gonna be interesting come monday with everyone back from holiday

in about a month time we basically went from irrationally pessimistic to irrationally exuberant thanks to FASB changing the mark to market so now all banks's P&L and balance sheet are strong as ever lol
