can anyone tell me what the fuck are bank stocks still going up up and up?
it seems like the more capital they need, the higher it goes

like BAC, after-hours trade is up 9% and something like MS and JPM, they don't need extra capital and they have no action for after hours..

THIS IS A JOKE!

Summer is coming, and oil will always have a good time during summer.

Not to mention the uncertainty with GM and the housing market with the adjustable mortgages.

I pull out all my US holdings 2 months ago and have been holding G.to and ABx.to for some time.

This week has been a 20% week for me with the stock price and exchange rate. my RRSP is making a killing as well.

do you guys think it would be a good idea to buy some GM stock for short-term purpose. right now the price is as low as 1.45 per share.

and GM just received 7.5 billion loan from government as well as about to make a deal with UAW...

any insight?

^by GM stock, you really mean GM options.

it is pure gambling with GM, and anything can happen with it. I myself thought about getting a couple hundred of GM just for kicks too
