Most online brokerages charge an extra fee to get that sort of data.

However, you can see a list of the last 8 trades on stockwatch.com [Just click on depth]; otherwise, you will have to pay.

who's still holding on CAN? Finally got my funds after 6 weeks and am thinking of getting in on CAN. Seems like it hasn't been doing too well in the last few days.

strykn 09-29-2010 12:24 PM

Good price to buy imo, I'd load up more but I've used all my buying power

strykn 09-30-2010 02:07 PM

My testicles shot up to my throat when I woke up to CAN @ 2.75 god damn scary times.

It states on the headings, the first column is the buyers, second are the sellers.

A good question about knowing if its the institution or individual buyer. I like to see common patterns, if its a company that is consistently buying big or selling big, I'd lean towards institution. Or anonymous, likely an institution wanting to hide. Iceberg sellers too are institutions, you can't see them on the level 2 quotes, but they are there at a close price range selling, trying to hold down the stock

waddy41 10-01-2010 12:14 PM

what the heck....canaccord just bought up tonnes of MER?

You sound unhappy. Did you sell off your MER shares too early?

waddy41 10-01-2010 01:23 PM

no i am happy...i bought at .27
but it's just weird with a huge jump in price without news (at least nothing that i can find)

DaFonz 10-01-2010 01:26 PM

5x average volume... hummmm?

waddy41 10-04-2010 06:16 AM

subordinate 10-04-2010 10:52 PM

Looking at Tag Oil Warrants, one year till expiry and almost in the money.

& Cin.v - REE Company, looks like REE plays are heating up.

gdoh 10-06-2010 09:47 AM

wow nice spread on TAO.WT and TAO looking good

subordinate 10-06-2010 11:15 AM

Yeah, The play has quite a few things going for it.

1.25 bid on the warrants at the moment.

subordinate 10-08-2010 09:46 AM

In KOK-VN (Tanzania play) - although it has pretty much doubled already in a couple of days, market cap is relatively small comparing to SOC, et cetera.

& Looking at NDR-VN

WHOHOOO finally someone in here that's looking into that.

yeah i used to for a year, along with another RS member here. i'm looking to get back into it within half a year or so.

futures are the way to go. stocks are childsplay once u go futures.

mind you day trading futures is fucking stressful as fuck. but the rewards (or losses lol) are huge.

leverage is everything. fuel injected money! 1-3% down? FUCK YEAH!!!

used to trade CL and ES, sometimes gold and other smaller things when other markets were quiet.

super high volume, super high volitility.

don't lose your shirt though. haha...

yeah and wasnt it you that made the forex thread? i'm surprised you wern't already trading currency futures... i mean, that's the only way to trade it ;)

What made you stop trading ES? what were you averaging pt wise? scalping? swing trading? Any experience with market profile?

ES, was like usually 2-4 points here or there, or if i'm lazy just that. sometimes i'd get up to 26 points.

I liked CL cuz it would take some real work to get 26 points in ES, but on CL it would happen quite often. I'd play ES till 1pm, after CL closed around 11am pst.

i was scalping/day trading. trades were like seconds to several hours. usually just minutes, like 15-40minutes on average?

market profiles? just looked it up... nah don't have any experience. I purely used technical analysis, and watched for important dates like reports etc.

I stopped trading cuz I lost control and didn't follow my trading rules, and just started to gamble lol. I haven't traded since then. I wanna start trading again soonish, probably no more day trading. it's too stressful, too glued to the screen 24/7. I'll probably swing trade, look at the bigger charts, catch the bigger swings.
