thats a good question

and its Murray :)

ps, im starting to wonder about suprasports service... ive had outstanding orders since dec. 01! :2finger:

emailed trent last night, got a responce today and he'd totally forgotten about all the hassle we'd gone through before when they lost my orders and such, now they expect me to pay extra for 'special service' in order to get my Lotek POD, which i presumed had been cleared up a month ago and would soon see in the mail. arggggh. i dont know if i'll order from them again, unless this is cleared up properly.

Enraged 05-01-2002 09:58 PM

uh... if you ordered it such a long time ago, they still had it on their web site. talk to jueff if you cant get anywhere with trent. i got my lotek pod and blitz boost gauge about 1 month after i ordered it (he had to get the boost gauge in, they won't drop ship apparantly).

Paradox 05-01-2002 10:16 PM

yeah well its not just the POD, its also a leather e-brake boot, upper rad. hardpipe and a JMBC... as for the JMBC i think im going to cancel that order since im getting one from supratrey of supraforums.

NashMan 05-01-2002 10:46 PM

my vavle cover are kinda dry right now time to add anther coat of paint

NashMan 05-02-2002 12:19 PM

so when do you have to sighn up for the mini races and such ps i do not have helmet imight beable to borrow one from some but i don't know

Enraged 05-02-2002 02:37 PM

im goin to go buy a helmet tomorrow i think. just show up to the minisprint on time (early is better though) and you can probably race, as long as you pass tech and have a snell 95 or newer helmet. SG Power has helmets for about $150 for a basic black full face.

NashMan 05-02-2002 11:03 PM

so what time do you have to show up to enter ect

Enraged 05-03-2002 12:15 PM

well FUCK.

i just wasted 1.5 hours at peninsula brake and muffler. i went there to get my rotors turned and new pads on. so i leave it, walk to tanners, come back 1.5 hours later, and he says no charge, the rotors are undersized. so it looks like i wont be autocrossing on Sunday GOD DAMNIT! i cnat buya helmet either..... fuckin HELL IM PISSED OFF!

anyways, im pricing out stock rotors and powerslot right now. alamomotorsports has KVR rotors for US$92 each, and thats the best deal ive found so far. Peninsula said they could get them for $95 each for stockers.... so there goes my money for a helmet...

Enraged 05-03-2002 12:25 PM

well, $150 each for front powerslots from lordco. autofx wants $200 each, may knock it down a bit, but i dont think they can match it. 10-12 working days away though.... oh well, im goin to go put a deposit on them now... so maybe ill get to autoX next month.... *sigh*....

Enraged 05-03-2002 01:35 PM

just ordered Powerslot rotors, they will be here in 10-12 workign days... i will be going to the autocross, but i wont be racing. ill watch, that way i can still meet you guys, and check out you cars.

What's wrong with your rotors?

You sure you can't squeeze one day of autocrossing out of them? ;)

NashMan 05-03-2002 02:39 PM

think about it he will worp his rotors caues of hifh speed brakeing

and that can wreck you clapier if they are way under spec but if your just barely there you can get one day of mini sprints out of em just turst me people drive on worn rotor like every day

that is crappy dude i will most likly be there raceing if not there to hang so no one still has told me the time thou

Enraged 05-03-2002 03:47 PM

tiem is 2:30 for registration. show up early.

i could care less about the rotors, im getting new ones. but i dont want to fuck up the caliper, so im just goin to watch. the spirited driving getting there will wear them enough. im goin to be driven the parents van for the next two weeks to get to work...

NashMan 05-03-2002 07:58 PM

dame i did not get my car finshed dame dame dame dame

it will be done tommrow for sure there is not much lef tot do any ways

Paradox 05-03-2002 09:07 PM

who did your machining?

Paradox 05-03-2002 09:24 PM

hehe Enraged, atleast Peninsula Brake and tire didnt charge you for ripping apart your brakes and shit, i member getting work done up island in nanaimo, they tried to charge me labor time for checking on things i didnt even ask for.

some mechanics are real bastards... :bluemad:

Marlon (the owner) is cool, tho, he gives me discounts and stuff on a lot of parts. and they do really good work. no complaints from me thus far.

hes probably gonna get me a sweet deal on some 17/45/235 Michilens. it'll save me almost 200 bux. wooooot

Enraged 05-03-2002 10:32 PM

235s? thats it? how big are your wheels?

Paradox 05-03-2002 10:36 PM

17x7 :(

i bought em before i had brains. atleast they look cool.....
